Once, a girl felt aghast to be left alone
Many people were in her life,
Yet the time came when she no longer appreciated
The contiguity they gave.Perplexed and discomfited,
She distanced herself from them, yet never left the one
The one she thought would fill those empty plates,
The one she thought would provide the protection she needed. The one she made one of her priorities,
Yet, the girl was not even considered,
How could she even be a priority? The girl scowled at the greediness,
Her chest banged in anguish.
