The soothing melody of the waves
Was once my solace
A sky painted in a single shade of blue
Reflecting on the ocean's surface, with sparkling diamonds
Leaves dancing in the wind
Offered a sense of inescapable tranquility
I loved the feeling of sand sticking to
my feet
And the natural surroundings that enveloped me
These were the things I yearned for
But upon my return
To the place that once gave me such peace
Nothing remained
The waves' music distorted
The sky painted with hues that hurt
my eyes
What was once my inevitable peace
Is now an inevitable chaos I can no longer
feel them
Lost in the chaos of the present.
