AMORA

It feels like Colby and I are running forever, the adrenaline ran through our bodies; pushing us to go further and further. Our throats dried from all the laughter, and we had nothing to say to each other. Just running and enjoying a moment that I'll remember forever.

I followed Colby into the night, the blind leading the blind. It was dark, cold and everything was a blur except Colby. Colby's gripped onto my hand tight, making sure he didn't lose me in the night.

Colby's eyes were beaming and full of life, his pupils enlarged and manic, his hair ruffled and messy, and his face shone flawlessly into the night that I could just crumble. "Colby, where are we even going!" I laughed manically, and Colby chuckled. "Almost there, beautiful," Colby exclaimed. The moon shone on us flawlessly and we felt euphoric. Our laughter is the only sound in the night, the only sound you can hear for miles.

COLBY

Amora shone in the moonlight, she was perfect without even trying. Her hair was a beautiful mess; flowing all over, her green rich eyes blinded me with beauty, and her smile; her smile was the only thing that kept me going, her long strides: trying to catch up to me, her perfect body which makes me weak.

Everything about her is perfect.

Amora didn't know where I was taking her and honestly I don't know either. I let my slightly drunken self lead us into the night hoping for the best however I had an idea of where to go.

AMORA

We walked a little longer until I heard a familiar crashing of waves and whispers of the sea and I then knew exactly where we were and I couldn't be happier. My legs were aching from the lengthy walk but I pushed on, eager to meet the sea.

I see the beach with my glossy and blur-like eyes, my legs begin to speed up, I am now running; wanting nothing more for my feet to touch the silky, smooth sand. I run until the very moment my feet landed on the sand, I spun around; twirling even. I spun in circles until I felt sick. My hair is flowing in the wind; becoming messier than ever.

I heard Colby's laughter in the distance and I managed to crack an even bigger smile than before. I ran over to Colby, grabbing him by the hand. "We have to run in, we didn't come here for nothing!" I squealed, and Colby laughed nervously. "Do we have to? It's going to be freezing!" Colby remarked, Colby quickly shut his mouth at the sight of my stern face.

I stood next to Colby, hand in hand. We ran towards the cold sea and didn't stop until we were waist-deep. I'm screaming but laughing into the wind from the cold and Colby's laughing hysterically, probably laughing even louder than me.

Colby pulled me in by the waist, I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly. We're forehead to forehead, staring into the eyes of each other, loving every second of this moment. Colby leaned in for a kiss and I do too until I'm not met with lips, instead freezing cold water. He dunked me!

I came back up, gasping for air. I could already hear his laughs, I splashed him with water right in the face, repeatedly. He's covering his face from the water but that won't do anything for him. I became quiet and stopped splashing him, silently moving closer to Colby; his eyes still closed. Colby opened his eyes and I instantly dunked him under the cold, freezing water. He thrashed in the water and I laughed. A taste of your own medicine!

Suddenly I'm pulled under the water, Colby held me tightly and pressed his lips to mine. I kissed him passionately, nipping at his bottom lip. I felt Colby smile during the kiss and butterflies emerged from my stomach. No matter how many times I kiss him, I'm still flustered every time.

We met the surface, both gasping for air this time. I hugged Colby tightly and reassuringly. "I love you." I whispered into his ear. "I love you more." Colby replied. We begin to shiver, jumping in with our clothes on probably wasn't the best idea but it sounded fun in the moment.

We emerged from the water holding hands and laid down on the sand, looking up to the stars. Colby told me about the constellations in the sky and their stories. I was surprised how he knew all of this but i didn't want to ask and interfere. I was enjoying this moment and didn't want it to end.

However it soon did when i began to shake like crazy, Colby became worried and said we should probably start heading home which i didn't mind. Colby piggy-backed me all the way home. Not one complaint came from his beautiful mouth. I'm such an lucky girl.

By the time we got back, the house was deadly silent, I heard no music or any people and all the lights were off. As we sneaked into the house we instantly went into 'ninja mode' as Colby liked to call it.

Colby slowly opened the front door, not wanting to set the alarm off that we assumed was on and we both walked inside. It was pitch black, Colby and I were holding onto each other for dear life. We found the stairs and quietly sneaked up them.

That was until I slipped and blew our cover, i felt like a troubled 14 year old again. We bursted into laughter and ran up the stairs into Colby's room. We took off our soaking clothes off from the beach and got dressed into pyjamas.

Colby and I got into bed and put on a background movie, we talked for an while until I could barely keep my eyes open. We laid in his warm, comfortable bed - holding each other. "Happy birthday, my beautiful girl." Colby whispered kissing my forehead. I smiled in my sleep and murmured a few words that I don't even think were words. Colby lightly chuckled and wrapped his arm around my waist before we both fell asleep.

Oh Colby Brock, I love you more than you will ever know.
