"He taught her that courage wasn't the absence of fear-it was running anyway, especially if someone you loved was running beside you."
"They were an unlikely equation-the boy who ran from monsters and the girl who stood her ground. But in the space...

*💚Third Person's POV💚*
The face beneath the mask was a shocking, shrivelled visage of robotics. But the voice that had hissed from the machine's gut was horrifyingly familiar.
"Scrappy Doo," Velma breathed, the name dropping like a stone.
From the smoking compartment, a tiny, mechanical puppet of a puppy whirred to life, its eyes glowing with malevolent light. "Correction. The new, improved Scrappy! Because I'm Scrappy-Dappy-Doo!" its tinny voice crowed. "I've absorbed enough energy to..." Its front leg suddenly inflated to grotesque proportions, throwing it off balance. It toppled over with a clatter.
"...to rule the world with my all-powerful army!" Its other leg and body swelled, metal plates grinding as it grew, and grew, and grew. The gang watched, stunned, as the tiny mechanical nuisance transformed into a towering, patchwork monster of scrap metal and stolen magic. "And I've brought you here, puny, pathetic Mystery Inc., to witness my moment of triumph!"
The transformation complete, Scrappy loomed over them, a behemoth of twisted steel and malice.
"All I need to complete my transformation," he boomed, his voice now a deafening roar, "is Scooby-Doo and Julia Willows!"
Julia instinctively shrank back, her fingers digging into Shaggy's arm. Shaggy stepped fully in front of her, a fragile but determined shield.
"Me? Don't you mean Melvin Doo?" Scooby quavered, pointing a shaky paw at his monstrous nephew.
"SEIZE THEM!" Scrappy thundered.
"Like, let's get out of here, Scoob! Jewels!" Shaggy yelled, spinning on his heel. He kept a vicelike grip on Julia's hand as they bolted, Scooby at their heels.
"Take that, pretty boy!" Scrappy snarled, swatting Velma and Fred aside like gnats as he gave chase. He bulldozed through the ranks of his own possessed students, clearing a path of destruction. "This is totally ungroovy!" Shaggy yelped, weaving desperately through the chaos.
"JULIA! SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU?" The giant dog's voice shook the cavern. "YIELD TO MY PUPPY POWER!"
From the ground, Velma pushed herself up, her eyes darting around the chamber. "We have to tip over the vat!" she shouted to Fred.
"How?"
"The pincer! Come on!" She sprinted for the control panel but was grabbed from behind by a hulking guard.
Fred saw a rope with a heavy pulley still attached, swinging from the earlier fiasco. He grabbed it, hefting the weight. "You all need to step back," he declared, a wild look in his eye, "cause the Fredster's got his groove on!" He swung the pulley in a wide, powerful arc, clotheslining the guards surrounding Velma.
