Tanjiro's POV:

I saw a upper rank 3 demon my eyes widen at the sight of this the upper rank demon had pink hair and his skin wad a light blue with dark blue strips going around every where around his body Rengoku still hasn't sensed his presence yet

That was until the demon tried to punch Tanjiro and that was when Rengoku cut the demons arm in two and the demon backed up and regenerated it almost instantly Rengoku got into a fighting stance but the demon did not and instead started to speak to Rengoku

"What fine sword you have" was the demon complementing Rengoku? How weird is that but in a blink of an eye they began to fight there fighting speed was incredibly fast I couldn't keep track of either of them I wanted to help Rengoku but I wad in too much pain to move so I was sitting on my knees looking like a weakling

They continued to fight for a couple of minutes and the demon even offered Rengoku to become a demon because he was amused by his strength and thankfully Rengoku rejected the offer and continued to fight him instead

Before I knew it Rengoku was all bloody up and was very injured but it was the opposite for the demon...the demon had no scars or scratches on him and if he did it would have regenerated instantly already

I have a bad feeling about this fight my stomach hurts like shit and Rengoku is very badly injured but soon after they began fighting again and the demon is still trying to convince him to become a demon

Rengoku got back into a fighting stance and was saying to set your heart ablaze? I think it was one his breathing technique's Rengoku and the demon created a bunch of dust and I could hardly even see them but I can hear Rengoku slashing him while the demon was laughing

Soon it had gone quiet and slowly the dust started clearing out of the way and I could see Rengoku with the demons arm threw his stomach!!

My jaw dropped by seeing Rengoku bleeding to death and I started to cry at the sight of this and Rengoku was coughing up blood I couldn't help him it's my fault he's going to die why do I have to be so weak? Why was my life the one that was spared, it should have been me...

Thank god Rengoku still had enough strength to try and cut his neck off but he couldn't do it and the demon tried to punch him but Rengoku was able to stop it soon the sun started to rise and the demon started to panic and tried to pull his arm out of Rengokus stomach but It wouldn't budge

I couldn't help Rengoku I couldn't stand up and help him how more useless can I Be, the demon ripped his arms out of Rengokus grasp and fled

The demon ran away and Rengoku fell on the floor to his knees since I couldn't walk I crawled towards him and I sat in front of him he started to say his last words and I couldn't help but cry

"Tanjiro don't be sad that I'm going to die as a hashira it's my duty to protect you and everyone that was on this train" I was still crying I couldn't look at him I felt to guilty it's my fault

"Rengoku I'm so sorry I couldn't help you if it wasn't for me being so weak maybe you would survived please forgive me" I begged for his forgiveness but I realized after I had finished apologizing he had died... and the kakushi have arrived and I had blacked out from exhaustion

So basically they found Tanjiro and Rengoku and Tanjiro had gone to the butterfly mansion to recover

Giyuus POV:

I heard Tanjiro got very badly injured they had brought him to the butterfly mansion till he would wake up I hope he's okay and I also heard that Rengoku has fallen... apparently they came upon lower moon 1 and uppermoon 3

I honestly don't care about anything but Tanjiro I just want to make sure if he's okay

I got to the butterfly mansion and shinobu led me to his room as I entered I saw a very wounded Tanjiro he was bleeding and was unconscious I ran and I kneeled down beside him and I held his hand in my own and brought it up to my face

"Tanjiro I Hope your okay" I said out loud and shinobu was standing on the door way looking at us

"Giyuu I will have to run some test on Tanjiro would you kindly move out of the way" shinobu had asked and I did she started to do her thing and soon left the room to another

I sat on Tanjiro's bed and started playing with his hair he was breathing softly but was still loud enough for me to hear it it was silent for a couple of moments before he started to wake up he slowly opened his eyes and sat up I got off the bed and I instantly pulled him into a hug

"Tanjiro your awake are you okay do you need anything?!" I said with a teary voice "I'm okay Giyuu" he responded and hugged me back

"Where am I tho" "your at the butterfly mansion I heard that Rengoku has fallen im very sorry" I said to him

"I know it was my fault if I hadn't been so weak maybe he could have survived it should have been me who died" when I heard Tanjiro say that I started to boil with anger and I pulled away from the hug we shared

"How could you say that! It's not your fault and even if it was you who died I would have killed myself just to be with you so be great full that you where the one who was spared!" I scolded Tanjiro for saying those things how could he think like that about himself  but I could see him tear up with my words

Tanjiro then hugged me and started to cry on my shoulders "Tanjiro...I'm sorry for yelling at you" "No it's okay I needed that thank you Giyuu" I didn't respond to that and just hugged him back

Soon shinobu came in and saw Tanjiro crying and I was hugging him and she looked sad or disappointed "I'm very sorry for interrupting you guys I'll tell you tomorrow once you feel better Tanjiro" and with that she left the room again I wonder what she needed to say tho?

After a couple of hours Tanjiro was able to walk again and we headed to my estate since it was closer to the butterfly mansion as I entered Tanjiro went into my room and fell onto my bed he was tired so I dont blame him

I began cooking for him I bet he's super hungry from fighting a lot he didn't come out of the room anymore so I guess he fell asleep

An hour has gone by and I had just finished cooking for Tanjiro I walked to my room to wake him up and as I entered I saw Tanjiro sleeping with one of my sweaters and was curled up into a ball I couldn't help but blush a bit I walked up to him and sat down on my bed next to him he looked so adorable in this position

I shook his shoulder in hopes of him to wake up he turned the other way and refused to get up I shook his shoulder again but this time he pulled me down onto the bed with him

"Tanjiro I finished making you food its going to get cold if you don't come and eat it" I tried explaining to him but he wouldn't listen to me

"Just lay here with me for a bit" he said with a sleepy voice "Tanjiro I-" I sighed Tanjiro was looking at me with puppy eyes I couldn't say no to him "fine but only for a little bit" I said looking the other way trying to hide me redness Tanjiro laughed and then wrapped his arms around my neck and his legs around my waist and he slowly fell asleep again while he was being glued on to me

I started playing with his hair for a bit and I admired him his face, he was so beautiful and with his long eyelashes and his dark red hair matching with it i could stare at him forever and not feel tired or bored because of it and I soon felt tired and closed my eyes slowly and fell asleep with Tanjiro in front of me and clinging onto me
