I wanted to post this chapter way earlier bc why not?

Tanjiro's POV:

I hugged Hayami back and I was so relieved that nothing bad had happened to her while I was gone

I looked back at Akari and she was filled with tears non dripping out tho I know what she must be feeling she's almost crying because she has never felt or seen a family bond before

I let go of Hayami and I walked towards Akari and I looked at her for a couple of seconds before I gave her a hug as well. She seemed very happy that I gave her a hug and gladly returned it to me

She wasn't crying but she was surely at the brink of tears. I wish I could take her from this horrible place and save her but she was a demon and she must have eaten humans before and I can never forgive that

I stopped hugging Akari and she gave me another small smile before she started to speak

"I'm going to get my head cut off for doing this so I might as well let you escape and be useful for once"

My heart sank at those words I even started to cry for her. She was such a kind person I couldn't believe this was going to happen to her

I felt Hayami hold onto my hand and she looked really scared and I must admit I was scared to but I had to be strong for Hayami and Giyuu

I wanted to ask one more question before we were actually able to leave why did Muzan want Hayami so much? What does she have that he wanted so badly? I need to ask Akari that hopefully she knows

"Akari can I ask a question"

I said and she turned around and nodded while smiling to me

"Why does Muzan want Hayami for?" 

She looked at me and she was no longer smiling I knew she was scared to say because she wasn't aloud to say but she's helping us escape so she should tell us right?

"Well- I don't know much but I heard that Hayami could be a descendant from a man named Yoriichi and he either wanted to kill her or turn her into a demon since she might be able to conquer the sun"

I had no idea who Yoriichi was but he seemed like a very important person and that's also why Muzan wanted her so badly? I'm glad that Akari was here to guide us and tell us Muzan's plans

But in return for all of her kindness her head would be cut off. Muzan is such a awful person how could he cut his own daughters head off?!

Akari and me were still walking and she was leading us to the exit of this horrible place it was so dark here the lights hardly did anything to light this place up I just wanted to get out of here as quickly as possible

"I've never left this place before, I was so scared of the demon slayers and of Muzan and since I hardly saw him I just stayed here for all these years of living. I also have never eaten human flesh because I have never been outside"

Akari siad out of nowhere I was so shocked that she hasn't ever been outside nor eaten human flesh at first I thought she was lying but her scent said differently

There was just no way she could be lying if she was I would immediately notice but all I can smell from her now is pure honesty

I was still so shocked but we finally reached this one place and a door was in front of us I thought that this might be a trap but I still opened it and I held onto Hayami and tightly just to see the outside

It was night and the moon looking down on me and Hayami. Hayami even started to cry from joy and from being out of that place I couldn't help but cry a little bit as well
