Summary: Tubbo's strange nightmare makes him way to scared, he has to see for himself what is walking through the forest, his home.

---

With his flashlight held high, stomping carefully through the tall grass, around the trees, always having one hand ready to grab his pocket knife, Tubbo searched for anything suspicious. That could be anything, and even if his body was tired and slowly started to feel numb from the lack of sleep, his mind is sharp and quick. The light scared a few animals away, but it wasnt something weird. What was though, was that not a single bird was in sight. Which is very unusual, especially for this forest. The forest was usually full of birdlife, even this late at night. Not to mention, there was tons of small animals, running above the ground, this late at night, that was unusual. Tubbo was getting a little concerned about that, but probably it was just a coincidence, right? No, he had to look into it, any little thing, even just a few more animals running around, could be a sign of some kind of danger. Something must have scared them out of the safe places of their homes. Tubbo pauses for a second and then follows them. It felt so weird, as if something was manipulating Tubbo to do it, but it was just him and his mind here. The light of his flashlight filled most of the forest up ahead. The ground was surprisingly dark, until his flashlight fell on something reflecting the light very sharply. Tubbo rushes towards it and drops on the dirt, turning the flashlight away from whatever was lying there, next to some roots. He takes his pocket knife, stabbing it firstly forward. No reaction, nothing, it was quite soft too? He touches the thing with the pocket knife now more softly, it didnt look dangerous, not poisonous. You can never be to sure, but Tubbo was curious, and didnt think about the danger at the moment, and went to touch it. It was incredibly soft, dirty, but soft. He points the flashlight back to it, even though its painfully reflecting, he wanted to see whatever he was touching. It seemed close to fur, the darkest black fur he's ever seen. It doesnt match the stucture of fur of any other animal in the forest. This is bad. An animal not close to anything near and far in this forest. A bear? Nono, that could be probably identified, or seen! But this? This is something else. Something far more different. The closest would probably be like a wolf if Tubbo thinks about it. But there are not many wolves in this forest, let alone have any with this kind of fur. Tubbo looks up, seeing how even more groups of animals are now there, all following one another in a line, not bothered of anything around them, weirdly as if their not aware of their doing, hunters and prey, mostly small animals, all going in the same direction. He decides quickly to follow them, quiet and steady, not wanting any kind of attention drawn to him. They lead him towards a small clearing, not too far from where he was first. There, the moonlight shines on a stone, a gorgeously shiny stone, reflecting the moonlight in every direction in colors from blue to red. It had the size of maybe a meter or so, but it was so beautiful, it fascinated Tubbo. He couldnt look away. He's never ever seen something like that ever before. Mesmerized he stared, and stared, doing the same as the animals around him. Until a screeching noise comes from behind the stone. Before Tubbo realized what was happening, the stone was shoved away, and something else was right there. Not a stone, not a human, not an animal to his known. His breath picks up, his heart beating fast, ready to run for his life. He wasnt the only one, the other animals were brought out of their state of unawareness, screaming, yelling, screeching, any noise whatever you could call this. All panick and terrified of the unknown, big black creature and the sudden realization where they were. The ground was shaking, right there, were once the stone was, stood a black creature, probably where the fur came from. The creature had the body of a wolf, with 3 pair of legs, a long tail, and so many eyes. It was far from a wolf though, Horns are on its head to go far to the back, with a black to brownish shading, the eyes glowing while the fur seems to be obsorbing the light. It had a big mouth, filled with so many teeth, and was so big, and creepy. Tubbo didnt wait long, observing it, and ran, hoping it would run after some other thing than him. It didnt. Far from his hopes, the creature was chasing him. He runs, faster and faster, tears already forming in his eyes, even though he doesnt believe, he still prays that the monster will not catch up, even though he is fully aware that it is only a matter of time that he will be its prey. Tubbo takes a surprising corner, one he never takes, away from the town, but into the mysterious part of the forest, one even to much and deep for him to visit. He runs, faster than the wind you could think, fully aware the monster will get him, because he doesnt have much breath left. As it gets closer, he quickly looks for some kind of escape, and sees a tree, towering over most others. Not thinking right, he climbs, instantly. The tree was tall, but so slim, it was only a matter of time, until it would crash down. He was already a bit too high, when the creature got to the tree. He closely looked at the sharp claws and teeth, fear sticking him to the top, clinging onto the tree, afraid to fall right into the claws of the monster right below him. His heart was pounding so hard, and his lungs were burning. The monster jumps onto the tree, clinging and hanging secure with its claws in the tree. It moved upwards, paniking at the situation, Tubbo climbs even further upwards, his hands were so painful and red, from grabbing sharp parts of branches, but he didnt even notice. The tree began shaking. Tubbo prays again, he wasnt able to see the monster because he was closing his eyes, when a loud crack filled the air, then another, and another, until the whole tree started moving. Tubbo clinges onto the tree, unaware of which way it would be falling, but he was so high up, it probably didnt matter either way, since he would break all of his bones when hitting the ground. The air was rushing past him, crying, he screamed in fear, when everything went black. Thats it. The pain hits him, and he feels blood, right before he cant feel or think anymore, its over.
