Summary: Dr Wynstor introduces Tubbo to his pets

---

"Good morning, Tubbo, did you sleep well?" Dr Wynstor smiles kindly, while pourring himself a coffee. I don't know how he has energy down here, but that is not important. "Well, I guess.." "that's great!" he replies. Well, I thought you might want to know more about the story behind all of this, like, my pets and all. It must be very confusing for you." I nod but don't listen. I was kept up all night by nightmares. I barely got my eyes closed. I am so tired that the floor looks like it is moving. I stumble "woah, are you alright there?" Dr Wynstor places the coffee on the counter and comes towards me "I'm fine, really!" I really don't want to be a disturbance. "No, you don't seem to be fine, let me check your temperature. You could have a fever." "Nooo it's fine-" "no but's, wait here." he walks off, and I let out a sigh. Goddamn. He comes back with a thermometer. "let me check.... no, no you don't seem to have a fever." he drops the thermometer again "did you really sleep well?" his worried voice made me feel awful for lying.

"Go back to bed." he said, putting the thermometer back to where he got it. "You're clearly tired." he points to the hallway to my room. "I'll see you when you've rested." he then goes away, into the hallway. I sighs, I really don't want to go back to bed, not with all the nightmares. I look around the room, trying to come up with an excuse. Great, can't think of anything, so I go back to my room, just like Dr Wynstor told me to. But I won't sleep, hell with that. Even if it's bad. I look around the room, and go to the bathroom. Standing over the sink, I look into the mirror, turning on the faucet and letting the water run over my hands. I splash the cold water into my face, as I heard that that makes you wake up. I take the towel next to the counter and wipe the water off my face, the mirror shows a way more awake me. I decide to freshen up while I'm at it.

I now wear new clothes, and I shaved, which I did yesterday already, but it doesn't hurt doing it again. I look again at my scars in the mirror, shaking off the thoughts and walked back into my room, closing the door behind me. I look around to see if I can entertain myself, to make time passing easier. The clock on the wall shows that I spent half an hour in the bathroom, I tried to take a lot of time. But, if I walk out now, Dr Wynstor will probably send me back to bed. I look at my bed, before looking at the door again. I yell out a curse and fall back when I spottet Dr Wynstor standing in the doorframe smiling while looking at me "thought I should check up on you. Didn't feel like sleeping, eh?" he asked, chucking kindly. I just nod my head. "Alright, I'm not forcing you. Hungry?" I didn't feel like eating right now, I'm probably still used to having food only on rare occasions, so eating all the time is a new experience. I shake my head no. "If you say so." Dr Wynstor replied "If you want to, we can eat later and I show you my pets now? What do you think?" I thought for a second "sure, I guess." he smiles, but it had some weird undertone to it.

Something he didn't tell me.

I follow him, the wounds from yesterday have healed up enough that I could walk about as quick as him, but I also have guessed already that he actually walked slower so I don't need to hurry. He walked down the hallway, past many different doors, some labelled, some not, some open, some closed. They make me wonder what kind of things lay behind them. He stops at the very end. "Before we go down there, I'll tell you some rules.

1. You do as I say. If you take a wrong step, or do the wrong thing, my pets might attack you.

2. Those that are in containers aren't trained well enough, don't go to close to those.

3. Those that run free will not attack, if you stay close to me, and don't go towards them.

4. I repeat the moral of yesterday's story. Those down there are monsters if caged up, they will try to kill you. No matter what you think they are like. I got many scars, and almost died many times.
