Summary: Warning: Gore, blood, throwing up (summary at the end for those who skip that part)

Tubbo escapes the safety of Ranboo's place, running as far as possible, but gets attacked by another creature.

---

It took Tubbo a few hours, or maybe days, to get used to this place. Ofcourse, he'd leave as soon as he can, but at the moment, Ranboo was watching him almost all day. Whenever he made attempts to get off this ridiculously high bed, they'd be there and stop him. He didnt complain much, not like Ranboo could really much understand anyway. It is more of like 'emotion' they can sense or something, or key words. Ranboo was always trying to understand, though he soon understood that they dont get everything he says, so he stopped bothering to talk. Honestly, Tubbo empathized with them. Would be so annoying to trying to protect someone who just tries to escape into a world unknown to them. Tubbo was really glad Ranboo found him, and not some creature that was aggressive. He lost his sense of time, he didnt know when he was awake or asleep, always slummering and yet awake, and not a window or anything. The only light source in here, was some small yellowish-brown mushrooms. Right now, Ranboo was watching him too, they were sitting on a rock in the corner, seemingly sleeping. This might be his chance. He considered it, but then remembered that it would probably be audible if he decided to jump, so this might be a bad idea. And even while being stuck in this rather unknown place, he felt some kind of nice feeling, close to comfort, saveness. He wasn't going home anytime soon anyways, so it's good to be calm, atleast in moments like these. Having stress right now would only harm the situation even more, not like it was good, but it could definetly be worse. He had to recover as soon as possible, hopefully Ranboo will set them free once that's the case. He didn't know that Ranboo's true intentions were, were they only pretending to be kind? It's normally very easy to read people for Tubbo, but this creature had always a clean expression, blank, unreadable, emotionless. How long is he going to be here? How long until his wounds heal, will they ever heal?

Now Tubbo's considering. He cant be here for weeks. Maybe even months. He cant. He needs to get out of here, somehow. Who knows whats happening in his world, with Shroud maybe even still being there, with nothing stopping it. Nothing can compare to this creature, out of hell. Looking at the peacefully Ranboo, sitting, almost laying with their arms supporting its weight, all of them, closed eyes, sleeping. Maybe their a heavy sleeper? That's Tubbo chance. Slowly going to the edge and letting his body hanging as low as possible, as to dampen the noise as much as possible. He took a deep breath, and let his body drop, landing rather ungracefull on the floor. The cold floor instantly hitting his skin, and a quick glance proves that they hears. Ranboo quickly stood up, but Tubbo was faster. Standing up, already well enough to barely feel the pain, running the way it probably goes outside. Feeling the eyes, and hearing the sounds of something running gave him adrenaline, running and running, before exiting the thing. It actually had an exit, incredible.

He runs further from the thing he woken up in and hides behind a random bushes, escaping from the tall moth. Exhaling deeply, he starts to plan something, because he needed to first know where he is to escape home. He waited longer, until he's sure that Ranboo wasn't close by anymore, then liftet himself, grabbing some close rock to pull himself up. He stayed close to the shadows, pushing forward through the deep forest, or whatever this place was supposed to imitate. He stumbles to the edge of a cliff, looking down and around himself, he seemed to find himself in a world, similar, yet far from ours. As fascinating and even beautiful this world looks, it's not his world, not where he belongs to. And he knows that it's dangerous, it could be even worse. How was he going to leave? How did he enter in the first place? Oh, yeah. Ranboo brought him here. Ranboo was the one who let him into this world, just, why? and how? Deep in his thoughts, he got scared by a sudden noise left from where he was standing, a rushing noise, as if someone just left. He stumbles closer. bending over, and kneeling down, when something jumped from the forest beside him, giving him a strong sudden push, letting him fall sideways over the edge of the cliff. He screams, falling, but falling surprisingly soft. Yet, the creature was jumping, and landed right infront of him. It was shorter than ranboo, but still taller than tubbo. Its head was replaced by a mushroom, his whole body looked like a mushroom, its legs interwined with roots, giving them a strong grip on the floor, its long arms had reaching hands, grabbing for Tubbo, missing only by a few inch. From beneath their hat a mouth was visible, big with large teeth. Different from Ranboo who if they open their mouth only has small teeth, if they even show them. But their teeth are sticking sideways from their mouth, with black ends, dripping black substance to the ground. Tubbo's breath picks up, as its roots losen from the ground, so they can move, He stands up and starts running, from a quick look behind himself, he found the creature being not as quick as him, that was his advantage! But then, he runs into a large mushroom, looking around, he was surrounded. The creature picks up pace, Tubbo, unable to move, holds his hands up, somehow he had to defend himself. He finds blood running down one of his hands, he didnt feel pain, may it be because of the fall and the moment of shock. The creature got closer, its beige arms and body with black hands reach out, to grab Tubbo. He kicks it, followed by hitting its head. It stumbles, a little from the shock, giving him enough time to give it another hit at the side of the face, but it grabs his lower arm, pulling him closer. Before Tubbo could react, was a screeching noise heard behind him, and the creature was hurled far from me, enough that something else could grab me. I look up, and see Ranboo, how did they find me? They shove Tubbo a little further to the ground, just enough so, the mushroom creature couldnt reach for him like they tried.

They grab the mushroom's arm shoving it further away. It growls in response, and Ranboo flings their wings open, preventing me to see anything. Crackling noise comes from them, which turns into another growl. I hear the mushroom jump, but Ranboo jumps out of the way, kicking it halfway to the side. It lays down, after a while it pushed itself up, now roots coming from the ground, grabbing ranboo. The roots slowly tighten around their legs, then lower body, crushing it almost. The mushroom got closer to ranboo, who still towered over it. Ranboo then dissapears into thin air, and reapears, right behind it, jumping on it from behind.

!!!WARNING: GORE, BLOOD, THROWING UP!!!

They make the mushroom stumble and fall under their weight. Ranboo now on top of it, opens their mouth that is normally invisible, melt with their skin. But now its very clearly visible. Opening it further and further. The mushroom quickly sink its teeth into Ranboo's arm, making it bleed a disgusting black liquid. Ranboo rams their teeth into its mushroom head, biting a part off, then again. and again. I couldn't look away, I was in a shock moment, I couldn't breath either. I felt so much fear inside of me, more than shroud could have given me. Ranboo end up ripping its head off, it flew a few feet away. My whole body shakes at the sight, when Ranboo decides that it wasnt dead enough and rips its chest open too. I feel like throwing up, and so I did. My whole body shakes as it all drops out besides me. I fell back behind me. I closed my eyes, I didnt want to see anymore, and now, I was able to move again. The sight of the black blood, flowing from the body onto the floor, the lifeless, unmoving body, and the giant body of Ranboo ontop of it, ripping it in half. Ofcourse, it attacked me, but It was a horrible sight. I didnt want to see. I didnt want to see. I didnt need to. It didnt need to die. I was soon able to breath again. So I slowly opened my eyes, and the mushroom was gone. Left behind was a pool of black blood, and Ranboo, standing up straight, looking at the place they just killed another creature. Yes, he is used to see dead ones, but those are animals, that dont bleed out much, and arent close to being human, and arent ripped apart, let along from someone that saved him. Ranboo lifted their head looked back, their purple eyes meeting his own. The glow had something in them, something that Tubbo didnt understand. Their face halfway covered in black blood, when they turned Tubbo saw their upper body also bloody, just like the head, the once beautiful wings, now had blood splatters from something, they ripped apart, they brutally killed, infront of Tubbo. It reappeared right infront of him, Tubbo yells out in fear, sliding backwards. Ranboo's had now an emotion, he thinks would be close to.. regret? fear? But no. Ranboo is no just creature. They're a monster. A murderous monster. He jumped up, with fear, he walked backwards, Ranboo watching him, but not moving. Their wings twitched, and their tail swung around their leg, the antennas low. He saw that they regretted their action, but that wasn't an excuse. He runs. Only eyes following his steps.
