Summary: Well, Tubbo's new family got left behind, but with Tommy at his side he finds a new family.

---

Tubbo spent a few weeks at their home. Phil soon came as well, they're the crow. It was actually quite nice, they take care of Tubbo, but let him leave too, sometimes letting either Tommy or Phil watch over him. It was nice. He soon got better, his legs getting better, and he started to overall stop worrying for some moments, but only some. With the help of Wilbur he even started active fighting, and training, even if he's way weaker than most creature's here, he should be able to defend himself and being able to fled from them. Maybe it's not as bad as it seems. But good luck doesnt stay for long.

After a while they got attacked. Tubbo ran with Tommy, as them being the weakest, to protect them, to keep them safe. It was bloody, they were covered in blood. He hated it. Once they escaped far enough, the first thing he did was cry. Some of the creatures are dead, and he desperatly hoped Wilbur and Phil made it out alive. Maybe, just maybe, he should've thought the same about Ranboo and the mushroom. He should probably have been happy that they survived. But instead, he blamed them for simply protecting him. With Tommy held close in his arms, like a little child, protected by their parent, he ran. Tommy was bloody, and the blood was after a while also on Tubbo. They needed to clean up, they both do. Lucky for them, it soon rains. The rain had a tint of black, but It cleaned them up. One thing Tubbo learned about Tommy was, that they dont only get dark at night, but also in rain. The tiny creature was now sleeping tight in his arms, almost snorring silently, Tubbo would thought of it was cute, but now he searchs for a place to stay for the night. The rain was fine at first, but now its heavy. Pouring from the light colored skies down and deafening Tubbo.

In the pouring sound, he heard a loud noise, a scream, a yell, a cackling. Ranboo's cackling. He looks down to the tiny ball in his arms, he holds Tommy tight as he went after the noise. He didnt want to, no. But the thought of Ranboo dying because he ignored the noise was way more to handle. He looks up ahead, Ranboo was sitting on the ground to the wall. It was actually them. Their antennas low and mouth wide open, as they let out another cackling. Above them were two dark creatures, with wide smiles. Long, slimy hands were cornering Ranboo, their wings were damaged, and a long wound was sliced through their face. Blood was flowing from their leg, too. Tubbo looks at Tommy, before hiding them in a small place, underneath some roots. He then runs to help Ranboo "HEY." The two creatures turn to him. They let out a snorting noise. He takes out a stick, and throws it at them. They dodge as if it was nothing, looking at each other awkwardly, unknowing that that was just distraction. He rushes forward, kicking one to the ground, twisting the others arm. They yell out in pain, the one he kicked, now running, and jumping above some rocks away. The other, which Tubbo held, bit his arm. He yelped in pain, before taking its smaller head, and ramming in into the wall. Multiple times. Until blood was now pouring from its head and they show no reaction. Tubbo lets go of the lifeless body, distancing himself, with regret in his face.

Ranboo on the other hand was also shocked, looking at him with an unexplainable expression. Tubbo looked back with the same face, taking deep breaths. Sharing looks with each other. Now Tubbo's hands are just as bloody as Ranboo's. He's killed a creature, with bare hands, one that could maybe have close to human structure. One Tubbo could have saved, had survived. Then he remembered Tommy. He runs back crouching next to the root, sighing deep to find them there, picking them up and holding them close. This time, he wouldnt run off from Ranboo. Not again. He's lost a family, now that he had someone that was nice, he couldnt lose them too. He couldnt. He had a friend, and he'll stay with them, until he finds a way to leave this place. With Tommy in one arm, he holds his other one to help ranboo up. They grab it, being awfully light. Being way taller than Tubbo yet, weight almost nothing. Guess that comes with being a literal being close to a moth. Their fur on the neck was being dirty red, from blood. The heavy rain pulled their fur down. The light colors now dark, and the happy face wasnt very happy anymore. There was something else, something Tubbo didnt know. So far he figured it out.

The low light and Ranboo's glow gave them enough light to keep moving. Noone said something, keeping the quiet calm, yet awkward. They haven't seen each other in around one, or maybe two months, and Ranboo probably lived in the believe that Tubbo hated them, it was true, but also not. Not anymore. We left the place. Further into the forest. Until we reached a small clearing. The soft light of the stars revealed a valley of green grass and trees, with a river running through it. Tubbo felt an unfamiliar sense of peace, the kind he hadn't felt since leaving his hometown. With Tommy in his arms and Ranboo behind him, he slowly walked further, through the softer rain, that washed away most of the blood, before hiding finally under some rocks, safe from the cold rain and wind. He felt a sense of belonging here, as if this was a place he had always been meant to come. Soon Ranboo was asleep, holding Tommy close and huddled together, their tails intertwined. Tubbo watched the scene with an unfamiliar warmth in his chest - almost as if they were a family. He couldn't shake the feeling, and it was oddly comforting.
All three of them were so different from each other, Tubbo not even from their world, and though Tommy had lost his family and Tubbo his home, both felt as if their tribulations could somehow be forgotten, at least for a while. The stars above them twinkled like small diamonds, a blanket of light and warmth in the night sky. The river below echoed and bubbled, allowing for a moment of serenity, as if it was shielding them from all the worries of the world. The valley was steep, with the grass reaching up to the toes, promising a journey of beauty and adventure.

After a lot of consideration, Tubbo laid himself down next to the others, feeling the warmth of their bodies radiating around him. It was a tranquil, idyllic moment, and he soon drifted off to sleep in the embrace of his newfound family. As he slept, he could feel the wind rustling through the grass, carrying with it the secrets of the world below. He could feel the stars twinkling above.
Maybe it was stupid, or even considerably crazy, sounding insane, but these creatures were his family. And honestly, being stuck in a world you barely know, makes you yourself a little insane, doesnt it? Or else you simply couldn't survive, you would be scared, always in stress, you'd be soon to die.

And with this family, maybe, just maybe, this wasnt as bad as Tubbo first thought it was.
