Summary: Tubbo wants to see the house, to find what is high up in the mountains, but the worries from Tommy and Ranboo make him question if it's worth it.

---

It was difficult to convince the others to leave the statue. Something keeping them at it, yet, he finally got through and they went on their way to the mountains. The other two had an uneasy expression, and even Tommy looked quite in thought. Just one day after finally coming to an end of Tommy's search, they were yet again searching. But this time, it was Tubbo they followed. The other two seemed distressed in a way, the further they got away from the statue, to the point that Ranboo even bumped into Tubbo. Though, as much as Tubbo cared for them, he felt the need to see the house as soon as possible. Yet, even though how much he wanted to push away his thoughts, he couldn't help it "what's wrong?" Both looked down, in a way that could be described as guilt. But, again, they don't react in any other way, than to stop, and look at everything besides Tubbo. It was unusual for Tommy not to be overly energized, jumping and rolling, and making barking noises, and Ranboo also isn't like this. Ranboo is normally the most collected, in their own head, antennas lightly wiggling as they detected any kind of movement, often like a shadow following the others. Tommy's glow was now dimm and their fur was greatly visible, it's beige, almost yellowlike pelt, looking way softer than it actually is. Ranboo's antennas lay pressed on their own head, eyes empty.

"What's wrong?" Tubbo asked again, and they ignored it again. He hated to admit, but the thought of them feeling down made him question his thoughts again. Maybe the house isn't as important as he thought, he cared much more for them right now. "You want to go back to the statue?" Now they both looked up a little, but only as much as they thought Tubbo wouldn't notice. Ranboo looked at tommy, before shaking it's head no. Tommy's glow seemed to brighten up a little, and Ranboo forced it's antennas up. Tubbo sighed, and turned around, leading them in the believe that he believed their act. He was good at noticing small details, and having both watched for a long while now, he saw through their lies. Yet he couldn't think of any reason why they would lie to him, they were family, and they knew he wouldn't judge them of anything, especially after he killed for them too. But, he wanted them to confess that there's something wrong, if they didn't want to tell him then he shouldn't push for an answer.

Walking through the forest was quicker than he thought, being energized by a meal he didn't have for multiple days possibly. Now thinking, how could he have been so calm back then, technically speaking he was close to death, right? Maybe the statue did have some effect on him, even if he didn't feel it.

While the trees got taller and wider, grass below get less and lesser. The color came slowly to darker brown color, more common on earth, the leafs filled in with a greenish shine, and the floor gets more and more soft and muddy. Something about it made Tubbo very uncomfortable, he almost forgot that this is what his world looked like, but all this shot back up the memories. His friends, his family, the forest, the library. The library, oh it was the most vivid memory he had, being very dear to him, and he made himself the promise. If he ever does get back, he promised, he would renovate the library. He would bring back the books, the place that beautiful it being the last thing he saw in his eyes.

The footsteps behind him got quieter, the other two having slowed their walk, to look around in awe. Their eyes lighten up in curiousity, and Tubbo remembered, that he was the only one having seen this kind of forest, the others never having left their own world. They probably felt the same that Tubbo felt the first time he saw this world. "It's okay, just, a little different!" he tried reassure them, but they weren't afraid, just, took in everything with intrest. "It reminds me of my world, earth, it looked just like this." Ranboo's head swung to the side, watching Tubbo turning to take a leaf, that resembled those of earth very close "See? This is what my world looked like. Here are also leaves, everywhere, but these are how they are most common for me" Tommy got close and snatched the leaf from Tubbo's hand, jumping now more excitedly up and down, whatever thing the other two had kept from him, this new place must have cleared up the problem, letting them forget whatever it was.

Now, after the other two explored the new area, they continued their journey, with the new gained energy that it created. Which for some reason was almost immediatly taken again, to the point where Tommy didn't move, and Ranboo picked it up to bring them along against their will, they also seemed more determined than Tommy, and yet also way more worried. Worry is all the emotion that was written on their faces, Tommy's close connected to their energetic being, mixed with anger, yet the worry was overwhelming Tubbo, and he got the feeling of worry too. He didn't like this anymore. It felt wrong, so wrong, and it seemed like something would go horribly wrong, the nice breeze and soft rays of sun on his skin didn't help either. Maybe it was because he never seen the others like this. It was unnatural. Never this much, never this heavy, or this mysterious, as neither shared any of their thoughts with him, and refused to answer any of his questions.

The feeling of being watched returned, this feeling of never being just them three, just as if another set of eyes was right there, just in the bushes behind them, watching, following, like a hunter it's prey, but nothing was there. Fear. Fear was the best describtion.
