"I'm glad you're alright, but did you have to paralyze me?" I said, "No move!" (y/n) said as he opened a marker and began drawing on my face, "YOU LITTLE! I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS! HEY STOP!" I said as he drew on me, "VERNAL!" I yelled, "Yes ma'am?" Vernal said as she entered the tent and broke down laughing, "SHUT UP! Just take him into town for the rest of the day! while I recover in peace!" I said, "Sure thing." she said.
(y/n) POV
I used my semblance to ditch Vernal and got lost, "Hello there little one, are you lost?" a woman said as I looked up at her.

"Yeah." I said, "Well I'll help you find your way, my name is Vale, what's your name?" she asked, "(y/n) Branwen." I said proudly, "Well (y/n) shall we go?" she asked, "What that?" I asked as I pointed at the spike in her hand, "Oh this? It's my weapon, I'm a huntress and I was sharpening it." she explained as she held my hand, "Shall we get going?" she asked sweetly as we walked off.
We eventually made it to a temple and I started thinking that I couldn't trust this lady. "Where are we?" I asked as I looked at the distant temple.

"This my child is the Temple of the Moon and Sun." Vale said, "Neat." I said as something flew over us, "Angel." I said coldly, "I should've locked her in her room." Vale said as she stabbed at me, but I teleported away, "She wasn't lying that you have potential." she said, "Allow me to properly introduce myself, I am Mother Superior Vale Briar, the Mother of Thorns." she said as she drew a second spike making me laugh, "What's so funny, little one? We have you outnumbered and I will not underestimate you again." Angel said making me laugh more, "It's morbin time." I said as I posed and transformed.

"What the?" she said as I zoomed toward her and created the sword from the cartoon. I was about to cut her down, but Vale stopped me with nothing but the tip of the spike in her non-dominant hand. "Angel, it's time you leave. And (y/n), while I won't kill you intentionally, I will not hesitate to harm or even impale you. So if you're done playing, we can begin your test in earnest." Vale said coldly as I returned to normal.
Vale POV
(y/n) returned to normal, but there was a calm hatred in his eyes, but not for me, suddenly Angel collapsed dozens of blades littering her body, "You truly hate her." I said as I watched (y/n) create a blate and plunged it into Angel's throat ensuring her death, "No going back." he said as he tried to impale me from nearly every direction with spears made of swirling air, I jumped through the small opening and found myself falling into another trap, massive jaws made of steel appeared ready to kill me, but they were slow and I quickly avoided them, "Behind you." he said coldly before a sword flew past my head, making me smile, "You know, Angel was never meant to attack your tribe, but when Beacon fell something in her snapped and she claimed it was a sign that all sinners must be eradicated. That the Dark Goddess was approaching." I said, "No care!" he said as two axes attempted to take my head. "Just die." he said coldly as he continued to try to kill me, "This is getting old." I said coldly, "Angel stop playing dead." I said coldly as Angel got up, "You died?" (y/n) said, "Sweetheart, I've resurrected the dead weeks after they died, this wasn't anything special. I healed her faster than you could kill her that's all." I said, "Killing everything now!" he said as he teleported high into the air.
(y/n) POV
I teleported high into the air and created the most powerful attack from that anime Ruby made me watch, "Super Spirit Bomb." I said coldly as I threw the bomb at them, when the attack exploded I assumed I had disintegrated them, "You missed, sweetheart." Vale said from the crater, "That was a decent attempt, a lesser warrior would have died from your first attack." She said, "You gave me quite the warmup, allow me to end this quickly." she said, "KAIDOKEN!" I shouted as her spikes impaled my shoulders and she used the attached chains to bind me and pull me down to her, "Kaido what?" she said smugly, "Kaidocrap." I said, "That's what I thought." she said as she tore her spikes from my shoulders, "Now will you come willingly or does Mother have to hurt you some more?" she said I smirked as Mama's sword impaled us both, "You little!" she said as a dagger appeared in her head, I escaped my chains and pulled the blade from my tummy, I dragged myself away and when I stood up to walk away, Vale's spiked pierced my throat, "I tried to play nice, but now is the time to spare the child and spoil the rod!" Vale said angrily as she tore her spikes out of my throat, "Resurrecting two people in one day will be taxing, but you forced my hand. Now go to sleep!" she said as she stabbed me through my heart.
Raven POV
"Something terrible just happened!" I said as I sat up, "How can you tell?" one of my men asked, "Cause I'm not paralyzed, you idiot! Where's Vernal?!" I said, "Raven, I'm sorry but I...how are you sitting up?" Vernal asked as she entered the tent, "Where is (y/n)?!" I asked, "I lost him. I searched the city, but he was nowhere to be found." she said, "Well he's either dead or unconscious. If it's the former then I don't need to tell you that there will be consequences." I said coldly.
