Surprises!

---Liam's POV---

"So did you happen to see Addy before you left?" I asked. Trying to sound cool, before any of the lads noticed my jaws tense with anger. We were walking into the lobby after eating.

"Yeah, I told her some pretty good news" he smiled. I wanted to punch those dimples right off his face. I mean, Yeah he was one of my best friends. But on the regular, he'll just flirt with a girl for a while, maybe even sleep with her. But after, he'll just move on like nothing. He didn't deserve Addy. MY Addy.

"What's the good news mate?" Louis asked, distracting me from my thoughts.

"I called up Simon and asked him to come over to watch her perform. Maybe he can sign her. She could really-" He paused. "She could- um- really make it big you know?" He was hiding something. I didn't like it. Not one bit.

"Good Idea, mate, She's very talented" Niall agreed.

"Yeah," I fake smiled, " It's a really goo-- Oh my god." My sentence was caught short as I saw a Thin familiar figure walk towards me. Danielle.

"SURPRISE!! I flew in to surprise you love. I missed you" she hugged me tighltly. I was too in shock to hug her back.

DAMN. This is gonna make things alot harder.

---Adelaide's POV--

I've been practicing my performance all afternoon. I was ready. I felt confident. The restaraunt was closed for now, so me and Sam practiced in private. The choice of song was somewhat of a statement. To Liam. I was gonna try to catch him before my performance and tell him to listen to the words. So he could know how I was feeling. It was an upbeat song, but it still got my message across... hopefully.

I looked a mess, in my gray sweats and slouchy off the shoulder black shirt. My hair up in a bun. My make up washed off slightly with my sweat. gross. I chugged my water down quickly before speaking to Sam.

"So, you ready?" I asked him.

"Are you?" he asked back. He didn't know my past, but he still knew how much this meant to me.

"yeah, are you ready to play my love interest?" I joked around. We were comfortable with eachother enough to joke around like this. Sam liked boys, but you couldn't tell by looking at him. He dressed in kicks, flatbills, and v-necks, with skinny jeans.

"Of course," he chuckled deeply. "hey, I gotta go, See you tomorrow at eight?" He walked away as I nodded at him. I decided to go up to my room and shower.

Getting out of the elevator, I came upon two people. One I knew personally, the other, I recognized from pictures all over the internet. It was Liam and Danielle. Hand in hand. I almost died right then and there.

"Addy, this is Danielle. My girlfriend" he introduced her. I smiled weakly. "Danni, this is Adelaide, my..friend." He stumbled on that one. He looked sad. Why was HE sad? I was the one having to go through the torture of having the guy I like choose someone else over me.

"Hello" she smiled. She clearly had no idea about his secret.... Me.

"I heard about your audition. Congrats." Liam said cooly. This was my chance. To tell him that this song was for him. As my statement, me or her. But I couldn't flat out say it. She was here. I decided to work around my words.

"yeah, the song I chose means alot. It's very important to me. It's kinda what I'm feeling at the moment. VERY important lyrics" I hinted. I think he got the picture, his jaw tensed.

"ooh you're deep" Danielle smiled sweetly, I didn't like it.

"yeah, well see you then" I said walking into my room. I didn't turn back. I didn't want to see his face. I was upset. A shower would help. Tomorrow was my second chance. I couldn't be distracted.

A bit past one in the morning, I heard a knock. I wrapped myself up in a blanket, and walked to the door. Not looking through the peep hole, I opened the door. It took me by surprise when Liam walked in quickly and closed the door behind him. It took me more by surprised when he grabbed my face between both hands and planted this huge passionate kiss. He was gentle, not like earlier that day. We broke apart and he stared into my eyes.

"I am so sorry you had to go through that" He said with worry in his eyes. I didn't know what to say.

"umm- ok" I uttered out.

"No, it's not. You didn't deserve that. And I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier. I just don't want to lose you to anyone, including Harry. You're mine remember?" desperation, that's what was behind his voice. He meant everything he said.

"Have you talked to management?" I finally was able to build a sentence.

"yes, they had to talk amongst themselves first. But they said they DID agree with keeping us a secret for now if I wasn't willing to break things off between me and you." I looked into his eyes, that wasn't what I wanted to hear. "I'm sorry Addy I can't control everything"

"How about you just stay with Danielle and I'll do whatever I need to do"

"NO!!!" he basically yelled. I hope he didn't wake anybody up. "I can't lose you Addy, You're everything I'm looking for. Danielle is amazing, But with you.... no words can describe you. Ever since I laid eyes on you, I knew, You had to be mine." That basically knocked me off my feet. I didn't know he felt like that. I thought he was just being a typical man, territorial. But there was much more behind this.

"Ok, Ok. I need time to think. These past few days have left me with nothing but headaches. I kinda need some sleep" He nodded and kissed me gently again.

"I'll see you tomorrow, at your performance? text me when you wake up, I would love to text you all day and hear from you" He soon left. closing the door behind him.

What. Is. Going. On??? Liam, Harry, Liam, Harry, Liam. I'm going insane. I don't know what to do. I don't know which path to go down. Well, I need to sleep on it. I'm sleeping in late. I walked back into my room, I turned off the light, and fell quickly to sleep.

(a/n surprised? haha That was a shocker with Danielle! haha anyways. I'm not sure if this is too long but eh, it gave a good amount of info out. Comment, Vote Read:) I'm updating alot lately because not only did I decide to stay in this weekend. I also am staying in during my Spring Break. That's right... a whole week of nothing but updating!)
