Compare and Contrast

---Adelaide's POV--- 

I hardly slept after Simon's call. I didn't think that I'd be this puzzled about what he had to say. All I know is that I now had TWO decisions to make.... Liam or Harry?... as well as the decision I had to make and answer Simon. 

The concert was later tonight. I was still lying down in my room. My head was spinning from all of the events that have occured. I just wanted some extra time for rest. I was about to drift off to sleep again, when I heard a knock on the door. 

"Come in," I offered.

In came Niall, with a huge teddy bear, and a box of chocolates? I sat up, and patted the spot next to me for Niall to sit. My widened eyes must have given my away my thoughts, because Niall laughed.

"Are those for me? Niall, you shouldn't ha-"

"Actually, these are from someone else. I'm just the messenger" he winked at me, leaving the gifts nexxt to me, he walked back out of the door. There was a letter attached to the box of chocolates with a ribbon. I opened it slowly. Wondering who it could be from. It read: 

To My Darling, 
I am very sorry I reacted in such horrible manner. I just felt like I was going to lose this battle. Harry always gets the girls he's after. I just thought, with his looks and charm... he'd win you over. Leaving me with such sadness. This isn't a plead to chose me. I want you to be happy. If it's with me then fantastic!:) If it's with Harry... then as long as you're happy, I will be as well. I just hate that the past few days have been cold shoulders and not talking. I miss you Adelaide. I want to hold you in my arms and protect you from any threat there could  be out there. You truely are my one true.... love. I'm sorry if that put pressure on you... I just can't help the way I feel. Please accept my gift, whether you pick me or not, I want you to know.. My heart will always be near yours.

 I was holding back tears. I wanted to be in Liam's arms right at this moment. I just wanted him to tell me everything was ok, and to take all this stress away. I hugged the bear tightly, only to feel a cold object against my chest. I pulled away from the bear, and studied it. That's when I noticed it. On the bear's neck, hung a silver chain. On the chain was a heart charm. It had diamonds along the rim of the heart.(Pic on side... hopefully lol) It was beautiful. I thought back to what Liam had written. 'my heart will always be near yours' . 

I walked out of the room to tell Liam thank you, but he wasn't there. The only person on the bus, beside myself, was Niall. He was eating a bowl of cereal as he watched television. He looked up at me and smiled widely.

"Where is he Niall?" I asked him. 

"He went to the gym for a bit. He said you might have wanted some space to think." I nodded. 

---Niall's POV---

She was twidling her thumbs as she stood, watching the television. I patted the spot on the sofa beside me. As she sat down she let out a sigh. She must not have noticed how loud it was because when I began to laugh, she blushed. 

"So?"

"So what?" she asked. looking at her hands.

"So who's it gonna be? Harry? or Liam?" I thought she would have shrugged, saying she stiill didn't know.. however her answer surprised me.

"You're just gonna have to wait and see." she smiled. 

"Til when?"

"You know me, I always like to make a good announcement during my performances" I knew what she was doing.... she was going to give her answer through her music. Clever girl.
