Coming Home and Matty's new bff

---Liam's POV--- 

We had performed our concert. I could tell the boys were trying their hardest not to look so sad. Every once in a while, we'd get kind of quiet. But we would pull ourselves together. Once the Concert ended, Simon wanted to have a meeting with me. Management had heard of the incident that happened. John had to get a few stitches from when I punched him. He deserved it, that bastard. I hated him. 

When I got to management, they said they weren't upset at all. One Direction defended a lady who was in trouble. It was perfect for the paper they said. "Adelaide's Hero Comes to The Rescue" I liked the sound of that actually. 

We were to have a few days off before we had to fly to Texas. We were going to perform at Dallas this time. However, Adelaide's hometown was in San Antonio. We all agreed to use our days off to visit her family. She was so excited for us to meet her mother and brother. I was as well. I wanted to meet her little brother, Matty, that she talked so much about. 

Our plane ride was quiet. Adelaide seemed to be so excited, however, she was sleeping at the moment. The media had been really digging into her past. I'm sure it was tiring her out. People on Twitter weren't very kind either. Alot of people were giving negative comments.

They didn't get any nicer. It saddened me that she had to go through that. However, she also had alot more fans than haters.

I smiled at the last one. Many people wanted us to make it official. I was one of them. I just didn't want to rush her into anything.  She also had alot of fans wanting her to record a CD. She had alot of positive tweets. However, like all of us, she tends to focus on the negative. 

---Adelaide's POV---

We landed at San Antonio. FINALLY. I missed my mom and my brother. The boys agreed to stay with me at my house. We had a guest room with a huge bed. three boys could stay there, and I'd sleep in My moms with her while two boys shared my bed in my room.

At the airport, I was looking for any familiar face. I saw a little boy with a sign that read "Miss Adelaide Thomson" in scribbly words. My brother. I ran up to him and scooped him up. He was laughing so hard. He was still light, but he looked alot better from the last time I had skyped him. My mom was right behind him, we squeezed eachother tightly. The boys were laughing at our reaction. 

"Mom, this is Zayn, Louis, Niall, Harry, and Liam" she hugged each boy tightly. She knew they had been by my side throughout everything. John, the media, and anyother stress I had. She already loved them. 

At my house, we unloaded our bags and were now sitting in the living room. Everyone was chatting, however, I was getting a bit bored just sitting there. I wanted to show the boys around a bit.

"Hey Matty," I whispered where only he could hear, "tell the boys you wanna go to the zoo"

"Hey guys! Adelaide said to tell you that I wanna go to the zoo" he smiled, unaware that I wanted to keep the part that I said this a secret. 

"Thanks Matty" I laughed. the boys began to laugh as well.

"No problem Addy" he smiled.

We all agreed to go to the zoo. The boys had to use baseball caps and aviator sunglasses so that they wouldn't be recognized. This didn't seem out of the ordinary, it was sunny outside. I just wore my aviator sunglasses. I told Matty to put on a baseball cap as well, just incase someone saw the boys, I didn't want the media to harass Matty for knowing them.
