chapter 16: a suprise for wally

You woke up the next morning as your boyfriend was still asleep, then it occurred to you as you stretched. It's been on your mind for the past few nights but now you had a true chance to finally think about it. What should or could you do for Wally? After all, he's been extremely loving and supporting through out every aspect you've gone through. He deserved something special. You got up and did your morning routine as you started fixing up some breakfast.

You made pancakes with a side of apple slices that were created as in almost a smile shape. You of course got him hot tea while you were at it. You then padded your way into your room and wrote a love letter to him before putting on lipstick and kissing the outside of the letter, then adding it to downstairs breakfast. You then yet again were pretty much getting a small excerize as you made your way back up the stairs, but you gently awoke him from his sleeping state. He stirred slightly as you peered over him, quite literally kissing him awake. Then, his eyes opened as he then smiled warmly at the meer sight of you. He rubbed his eyes and sat up.

"Goodmorning my love.. " he yawned out and still looked at you adoringly. You smiled warmly back and said your good morning before a bigger smile joined up on your lips. "Come down stairs! I made you your favorite type of breakfast! " and with that he slowly threw on his slippers and made his way down. He smiled at the sight and kissed you on the head. "You're too sweet my dear. " you scoffed softly as you looked at him.

"Are you crazy Wally? You do literally everything for me.. You really do deserve everything as well! " you said with a jokingly sassy tone. He gave an amused giggle as he made his way to sit down. He ate as you two talked, and then he picked up the love letter. His face seemed to glow up with the warmest, happiest smile displayed. He foleded the letter gently and placed it before looking at you. "Thank you, my dear, really.. " was all he could really get out. It seemed like for once, he was the one who got the butterflies. But that wasn't all he was getting today, oh no no no, today, was all about him and only him.

You then later in the day ended up making a playlist for him and sung them on the top of your lungs, and as well baking. Of course luckily this time no mess or spill was made. You made them into heart shaped and made your way over to him, which he was on the couch and you peered over at him.

"It's a heart! It's how I feel about you! " you laughed happily but truthfully. He thoughtfully looked at you and slowly took it. "Why thank you y/n.." You gave him a few more as you then also started creating a pin board online for him, in which you shared it. Throughout everything you noticed as time went on, he slowly became more shy. But then you had a greater idea. You knew he loved painting so you kissed him on the lips and went to the store to grab painting supplies and you came in excitedly.

"Look! I have a small idea wally- hear me out. " you started as he glanced at you calmly waiting for you to continue with a small smile that always seemed to be tugging on his lips. You then started. " we can paint together, but each 10 minutes we swap them! " his face seemed to light up even more which was a sign he agreed before he nodded. "Id love to do that with you. " Wally said in such a gentle voice. So you two headed out. What he didn't know is while you were out you also prepared a picnic basket and matching outfits.

As time went on you both switched canvases as said each 10 minutes, which also sort of led both of you to be covered by paint, as you were good at painting, just not the neatest at all times. The two ended up being of a scene that kinda looked like lanterns on a boat, which reminded you of your childhood movie tangled© which you smiled thoughtfully of and the other was a sunset with two people watching on a swing together, but at the end of that one you ended up writing a paragraph that had a few song lyrics on the back before handing it back to him.

When Wally realized he just simply gave you a kiss on the cheek pulling away with pink taking control of his face as he glanced away. "My my y/n...youre being so... " he trailed off in embarrassment as you smiled lovingly at him. "So what...? I'm just treating you as you deserve... Same as you do with me..! " you booped him jokingly as he chuckled. "Mhmmm.. " he said as you then leaned in further to give him a kiss.  As you let those dry you then turned to him, remembering the basket and outfits.

You perked up and shook your head. "Right! Wally come follow me! " he did as you asked and did end up following you. There laid the striped top and tan bottoms for him and along with his of course red ascot, in which you had matching (rainbow dress with red ascot or tan shirt with rainbow pants + ascot) along with black heals or black flats(men or women) you smiled as you handed him his. "See! We're... " you giggled again as he finished your sentence, in complete awe.

"Matching? Hmmm.. That's adorable. Not adorable as you though.. " he gave a sly grin and pulled you in for a kiss, in which you most definitely did return. Then finally you two got dressed and found a close, yet nice sight for you two to end up eating. Of course there were apples involved with that too, but with much effort and work you learned how to cut the apples into flower or heart shapes which most definitely did impress Wally. He smiled warmly at you as you two ate, then you "jokingly" took the two paper wrappers that went to the straws you had gotten earlier and folded them into small little hearts, learning to attach them to another folded band, making a ring, you held out wallys hand and slipped one on as you slipped one on yourself. Then you half sang the cliché trend youve been seeing on the internet with "I love shiny things but I'd marry you with paper rings" and with that you gave another affectionate kiss to him as you finished up the lunch, then slowly you guys ended up packing that up and you held his hand, meanwhile stopping to glance at him every chance you got. You then started to speak shyly.

"You know Wally, I really love you.. You're just,, I don't know? Perfect? Your style and your voice and even your personaility-i - just everything, you make me so happy and... "  you continued rambling and to a point he almost wanted to say "oh I know~" as he normally would, he was pretty confident but however with how much you went on he felt himself get flustered and he leaned in, quickly pulling you into a kiss, in hopes it would distract you as he wasn't sure he was able to handle being this flustered.

It was the first time in probably forever that someone was able to get him to be all embarrassed like that. You smiled shyly as he pulled back and he chuckled shyly as well. "O-okay my dear, I get what you mean, I'm pretty great.. I appreciate all of this, I really do, but you know, I think the biggest gift I could get is doing anything to do with you.. " he mumbled as he pulled you in for another kiss. You couldn't help but smile as you heard those words, still, you wanted to make everything special for him. You knew being there was enough, but for all that boy did for you, you thought it was time he deserved something too, as much as he gave you.

You then two both spent the later afternoon cuddled and kissing each other. He then smiled softly suggesting a playful makeover with each other, so you gladly did agree. You did of course him first with a face mask, makeup, and such. It was hard styling his hair as you had to wash out the literal what felt like would be pounds of hairspray or even gel in his hair  which made you laugh a bit. But it got Done, in the end you both ended up doing some photos together and of course printed out you set one of them as a background for your phone which gave you an idea. You had his hand do that heart thing as you did with yours, now you guys had your phones as each other's matching hearts if that made sense. However it made him somehow a childish like happy.

To finish off the night you did the same thing for him as he did for you with the bath, just making it different kinds of flowers and candles. He thanked you softly as you played his favorite music as well for when  he got out of it. When he did he joined you in bed and you spent the rest of the night talking and enjoying each other until you fall asleep watching his favorite show.
