chapter 25:slumber party

In the morning you awoke softly opening your eyes and stretching as you rolled over in expect to see Wally. But to your surprise he wasn't there. You slowly got up and looked around. Going downstairs you called out his name and he wasn't anywhere to be found, then you found a note on the table.

"I figured I'd go shopping for food while you slept, I hope you don't mind- but good morning my doll <3 - Wally" you smiled softly at the note as your data for your phone ran out and sometime today you had to grab a new card for it, so he couldn't just text you. Never the less you were a bit bored as it was just you in the house, no friend to hang out with. That's when you decided you would go on a small nature walk. You hadn't done one of those since you and Wally first met. It was funny to you as that memory seemed distant. You slipped on your shoes and all of that before stepping out. You said hello to Julie and Barnaby, then passed Eddie on your way and along with the rest of your neighbors that surrounded you.

Finally you made your way around, and Sally ran up to you. "Hey! " she chirped happily. You turned around and waved to her. "Hey Sally what's up? " you asked as she made her way to join you on the walk. She shrugged. "Nothin much, but I also wanted to hand you this, it's our next showing! It's not a musical, it's a play"  you glanced over and smiled. "Well, thanks" she nodded. "No problem...! Say, me and you haven't hung out at all and I know you and Wally are moved in together, and if I'm honest due to everything I haven't gotten out much, maybe we could have a mini girls sleepover with wally of course just there! " you laughed a little. "We can style him like a girl" you joked. Sally rolled her eyes. "Careful, he may let you, considering the fact it's you. " she left that remark but you did like the idea of you, Sally, Julie, and poppy hanging out, plus your beloved Wally.

You guys talked it over and slowly you made your way back to your home. You felt a bit scared though as you passed home, but a form of rage took over you as you remembered what home had done prior. You angerily closed your door. You promised yourself one day that you would get revenge on that house and you didn't care what it took. Let alone you called up. "Wally, you out of the shower? " he replied. "Yes dear, up here! And your phone card I also picked up is on the table! " you followed to the sound of his voice and walked in, he was in the process of styling his hair which you couldn't help but cough as the room was almost intoxicated it felt like from it. You jokingly, but not actually jokingly covered your mouth and shyly smiled "anyway.. Wally.. Think all the main girls around here could stay for a sleepover with me and you? " Wally for a moment thought and nodded. "Of course. " you cheered happily and sent a group message to the 3 , one by one they all showed up.

Poppy came in first with some snacks and also stuff to bake, Julie came in with board games and make up, Sally came in with music records to vibe to and more snacks while of course you provided the house and comfort. Poppy greeted you and pulled you in. "Y/n! So great to see you honey. " she chirped, then the blonde came in and set her stuff down. Besides that one incident with Wally, she wasn't ever in your house. She complimented small things about it which you of course said thank you. It was the thought that was a little sweet. Then Sally you greeted with a hug and you called Wally down. He greeted everyone with a simple "hello neighbors, welcome to our home.. " he smiled as he made his way to a pile of blankets and pillows on the floor.

Then you looked at everyone. "What should we do? " you asked looking around the room. Julie already had a large smile on her face. "Oh I know! The game clue! " she explained the rules to everyone while Wally was still confused. "This is a bit silly, isn't it? We're playing detecti... " he slowly cut off as he looked over, and what he was just saying left his mind as your smile and laugh about it made him instantly just agree and not say anything further. He wasn't even sure what it was but he really did love you, and anything you loved he tried his best to love it to, just for the thought he could expirance them with you. Never the less you guys started the game. Julie looked at Wally in shock as he won. "You tricked us! You.. You lied to us! Hmph! You said you didn't have ballroom and you did! " he laughed softly. "Sorry Julie, I don't play fair. " he shrugged and sighed. Then the next few rounds you won and Sally won. Julie pouted. "This isn't fair! I brought it! " she laughed sarcastically. Clearly she really didn't mind who won, she giggled as poppy went to comfort her. "I'm just teasing guys- I'm glad you all are enjoying the game! But maybe hmmm.. What else can we do? "

then Sally looked at poppy. "Hey pops, you have some stuff we could bake right? " she asked as taking a handful of chips. The bird nodded. "Yeah, I do! I brought some peanut butter brownies for us to make! " everyone cheered and headed to the kitchen. She even brought aprons for everyone, you were struggling with yours and Wally smiled softly as he walked up behind you. "Look like someone's struggling hm? " he kissed your cheek as he helped you tie it from the back and sent you over to poppy to grab your things. It was decided that you and Wally would team up, then Julie and Sally would team up, poppy would end up judging them. She even ended up blogging it on the small baking channel she had up.

Sally ended up playing some retro old music on her record disc in the other room that could be heard crystal clear from the living room. Never the less with you focusing on the baking, Wally did flirt with you jokingly time to time catching you off guard. He did it as he thought you looked adorable like that. He came up behind you and put his head in the crook of  your neck, watching you pour the mix into it. He looked at you lovingly. "You're really cute, you know? " he chuckled as he kissed your cheek. In response you smiled. "Thank you... But says your self silly. " you kissed his head and seemingly he melted into your touch. Then you glanced at him. "You're being so affectionate.. What's up.. Hmmm? " you asked with a curious smile then he shrugged. "I'm just adoring being with my future spouse is that a bad thing? " he laughed softly and you shook your head with a flustered smile. "Course not. " with that he gave you one last kiss as everything finished up, Julie ended up winning, but Wally smiled. "It's okay y/n, yours are the best in my eyes. " you kissed him on the cheek as you all settled around to enjoy what everyone had made.

Last part of the night you guys started doing each other's makeup and hair. To a point you joked around. "We should do emo make overs it'd be so Intresting! I saw a look on Instagram! " Julie showed a photo of a friend group that looked super cool. Everyone got started, Julie did Sally's, poppy did Julies and you did wallys, of course he ended up doing your makeup too. Then it came to hair and you playfully tackled Wally. "Let me style your hair pleaseeeeee! " he laughed and gave in. "Okay okay... Let's go... " you guys went upstairs into the bathroom only to rinse out his hair and blow dry it. In which it did end up looking good just as it was but you still managed to style it a bit. You all took photos and joked around. For the last part of the night, as time went on you guys played truth or dare, or just gossiping. Which got everyone tired with drama and one by one everyone fell asleep, of course except for Wally. When he did he looked at you in complete lovestruck and kissed your cheek, admiring every part of you as you rested. "Your ever so much to me... And very stunning.. " he mumbled to himself and kissed your head again, fixing your hair/hijaba bit in your sleep(if your head is shaved or such, hes  cuddling you and is currently cupping your face and kissing you) but as he did that he jumped back shyly as you turned. Never the less he rested and ended up falling asleep.
