chapter 27: homes in control

By the time the sun was up wally was also awake, and you were getting there. However something seemed amist in the air, something off. Never the less wally didn't seem any different, I mean, he didn't feel any different either. You woke up beside him while he was still next to you in bed, reading some news paper that he'd picked up the other day at the store. When he saw you had opened your eyes, he kissed you softly with a warm smile.

"Good morning y/n.." He said with a very soft tone. You rolled over in a bit of confused mist at first and then smiled touching up to his face happily. "Morninnngggg" you rambled quietly before getting up for breakfast. He laughed quietly and went down stairs with you, this time you decided to cook breakfast to be nice and plus, he did it all the time. That being said while you were distracted Wally dissociated for moment. When you went to talk to him, he had a blank face present and staring over at home. Worridly you waved your hand in front of Wally. "Honey... You okay? "

Your eyes widened almost as you swore you saw his eyes dialate by a difference and just as quickly he smiled. "Yes darling, I'm okay, why do you ask? " Wally spoke with a tone of voice that had just seemed like he wasn't in that moment. Off put you let out a small sigh and to yourself shook your dead trying to convince yourself it was only but a silly vision. Then finally you replied. "Sorry, you just seemed off. " then Wally looked away for a moment. "I guess you could say I didn't get the best sleep, that's all love. " the thought did make sense, as you've done the same but it was the fact he was staring at home. Nevertheless you gave him benefit of the doubt and went back to doing what you were doing. Although you did turn around as you got a call from your friend, asking to meet them at the mall, your face seemed to light up and looked at Wally after you had hung up.

"So love.. Would you like to go to the mall with me? " you asked tilting your head ever so slightly. Wally however still seemed so, out of it. He didn't want to admit to you as he looked  down at the food you just sat in front of him. "Thank you doll... " he sighed with a sweet smile, but something just couldn't seem to get his mind off of home. Visions, and sights that were from seemingly what he described as the depths of a dark place. You wondered and stared. What was up with him...? Never the less you repeated the question. "Wally? Do you wanna go? Or?" You sat down in front of him taking your own plate of food from the counter. Normally he seemed very upright to join you on things such as trips with friends or more. After a few moments of silence you continued. "Are you feeling alright? "

However every word left your mouth, Wally couldn't concentrate on you, he felt dizzy and almost sick. Anticipation settled in his stomach as he felt a sense of something coming, but it wasn't good. His eyes shook and tried to respond, finally after seconds that seemed like hours he smiled.  What could he tell you? He didn't want to ruin this little trip of yours so he decided he'd lie, just a small one. "Yeah dear, I'm just.. Perhaps tired, I'm feeling a bit under the weather.. Ha.. How about you go out.. And I'll stay here? I need my beauty sleep after all. " he felt bad lying to you but he needed to get rid of this feeling once and for all. However to his non surprise you shook your head and suggested to care for him.

"Wally if you're sick I'll.. Ill just stay I mean- i don't want something to happen to you-" although you tried protesting Wally stood up and patted your back. "Go join them sweetheart.. Ill be waiting for you okay? " he had a gentle tone as he did finish the food, setting it in the sink before handing you your coat and bag. "Besides... " he trailed off for a moment. "Barnaby has my back remember? " you nodded and sighed. You couldn't help but agree with him as you kissed him on the cheek and waved him bye heading out the door. "I love you Wally, bye! " you chuckle and he smiles, waving goodbye.
