chapter 18: jealousy leads to fighting

You two woke up in each other's arms just as any other normal morning you then went downstairs and started making breakfast. Your boy friend walked up behind you and gave you a kiss on the head. But just before anything else could be done, your phone started ringing. it had Austin's name on it, then wally looked at the contacts name with a confused expression. "why is Austin calling you this early? " he asked with a curious tone. recently you and Austin had been  hanging out a lot more than normal, and he wasn't quite sure if he was ok with it. however, as time went on, you two kept on hanging out and it's really started to bother him. He let out a sigh as you answered the phone and there the conversation started

" hey, Austin, what's up? " you asked as you answer the phone, his voice barked over the speaker as he gave out a loud laugh. "hey, I just saw something downtown that seemed to be a new shop, or something of the sort opened up, would you be willing to come down and meet me there? just me and you? "he asked, you said of course. then you turn to Wally. "hey, love I'm going to be going out with Austin I'll see you in a few hours baby.." You kissed his cheek. he then let out an annoyed sigh which is something you hadn't normally heard from him before.

you looked at him curiously and tilted your head "what's up you look very I don't know what's the word
...UPSET? " you said your voice changing with concern. he glanced away and mumbled to himself before focusing on his breakfast this wasn't his normal behavior so you turned around and kept talking "if there's something bothering you you know you can tell me, right? I love you.." he replied with a simple nod and let out a sigh before speaking. "I just don't get it why do you need to need to constantly hang out I mean who is he anyways? I get it, a best friend, but it's strange how he wants to always be with you. That's my placement.." you laughed a little bit in his last statement then looked at him "are you really jealous? That's kind of adorable but I assure I'm mean he's just my friend since we were younger, and then we just happened to grow up together! it's not like, I love him or anything! " you notice while he became slightly defensive, but didn't really reply as much as to not start any more issues,and wanted you to be happy.

you let it go and you started getting ready, although you kept on feeling the tension through the room. He got very uncomfortable with you leaving. Then continuing on you got ready..fully finished and came downstairs. however, Wally, instead of his normal, cheerful self gave you a glare. you sighed softly and hugged him. "I promise its only be a few hours, and there's nothing going between us anyways."  He rolled his eyes, but nevertheless, still not at at you "..whatever you say, I guess with that he kissed you on the head" and sent you on your way. not really wanting to bother much anymore, you kiss his cheek and left outside and started the car.

however, as you kept on going you kept on thinking about how upset he was, you felt bad. then a few hours you notice yourself having a little bit of fun, halfly. but however Austin wanted to go back to his place and reluctantly you agreed. you sat down as he looked at you scratching the back of his neck he's started "hey y/n I need to tell you something..."you tilted your head and nodded waiting for him to speak out the words of what he had to say. He let out sigh and hastily looked at you "I think I've always had feelings for you ... it's always been you! I mean....your parents invited me over just so you would possibly get over Wally. I mean you can't possibly love him..right? Youve only known him for a few months! " you felt your heart drop and you felt yourself even get angry at him as you got up yelled. "Austin how could you say such a thing?! he is my boyfriend! I am dating him, planning on marrying him! I have been with him for the past few months, and known him for about a year over! you don't have the right, or my parents to say that..I can't believe you would turn around and actually think I would be with somebody like you! you shouted a little bit agitated you grabbed your stuff and shoved him as you started to head out.
