His pov*
The last day of school, was probably one of the weirdest feelings of the whole school year. Having the first day of school be the other. You are so hyped to leave and not come back for three months but at the same time it's kinda sad saying goodbye to your favorite teachers and people you don't really talk to outside of school. I don't worry too much about my friends because football is starting up for next season, with basically means training and I'll be seeing them and my coaches all summer. And then Sages friends, my new friends, I'll probably see here and there if we decide to hang out all together.
I'll miss having a huge reason to get up in the morning and not waste half my day sleeping, but hopefully that won't be a problem. Virginia summers can either be really nice and warm or so grossly sticky and humid. We will see.

"Guys I totally forgot to tell you something!" I announced loudly as I ran into the kitchen where my parents were.
"Okay.." my dad said confused.
"Sage is my girlfriend! Like for real for real." I grinned.
"Yay! Matthew! That's so great!" my mom said coming and hugging me.
"Yes that is great. I really like that girl.. But Sarah, now that it's official you know what that means.."
I kinda held my breath, and they both looked at me.
"Okay, if you guys have some kind of sex talk prepared it's gonna really ruin this nice moment we have goin'" I said awkwardly and nervously laughed at the discomfort. My parents laughed, "We won't go in depth, you're a smart kid." My dad told me. My palms got sweaty because I was feeling uncomfortable and I really just wanted to burst out in laughter.
"We just want to make sure you two are safe, I'm not saying that you arent gonna have sex, we aren't stupid, we were once teenagers also and we just want you to be prepared." My mom said.I nodded awkwardly.
"So we put a box of condoms under the bathroom sink. Just so you know. But let's make this clear," my dad said sternly and looked at me directly in my eyes, "When she's here, doors open. And this whole talk is not suggesting you do it, just if you're gonna be sneaky you should be safe."
"Okay." I answered.
I was mostly surprised of how scary and casual that was. My parents are so chill, and I'm so lucky to have them. They know how teenagers are, and aren't delusional. I left the kitchen and went in my room before I let out all my jitters and screamed into my pillow because that conversation was so awkward!
I naturally, searched under the bathroom sink when I went to the bathroom next and found the box. I can't say, the thought never crossed my mind about Sage and I you know.. But just knowing that I don't have to worry about getting protection is very comforting. I stole a few from the box and stashed them in my room. I was a bit anxious.

"Cmon c'mon cmonnnnnn" I begged into the phone in the most dramatic voice.
"Matt youre funnnny." she said dragging her own words. I was trying to convince her to come to the football party at my house.
"Pleaseee Sage, pleaseeee!" I whined.
"I barely know anyone, I feel like it will be weird."
"You'll know Tyler, and Ethan, and my parents! And me! Cmon!" I tried to convince her, the best that I could.
"My parents want you to come!" I added.
