Wednesday's POV.

It was a nice afternoon, I finished 3 chapters of my novel without any disturbance. Thing was with my dear partner, Y/N, and Enid is clearly out of nowhere.

Peace is what for me, not until someone broke into it. "Make sure it is worth my last 2 minutes with you, Enid. what do you wish for me?" I asked without looking at her.

"It's Y/N."

I looked furiously at her. "What about her?"

"She got into a fight with the normies. She, thing, Tyler, and Xavier."

I stood up abruptly and grabbed my coat from my rack and quickly got out to my room. "You should've said this at the instant when she's with Tyler. That man is nothing but disruption."

"I just can't run back here, it's a 15-minute drive from Jericho and 30 minutes if I walk." Enid protested.

"Then you should instruct Thing to do the message."

"Well... Thing was the reason why Y/N launched those normies." I looked at her.

"Then I'm going to deal Thing later. Let's go, where is she?"

"At the weathervane."

Y/N's POV.

"Ow, man! That hurts!" I ranted when Ajax and Xavier fixed my wounds while Tyler is still talking to those lousy normies. I should use my power against them, they're talking back to us.

"You should work your temper, Y/N. Your girlfriend is so calm and creepy while you're very aggressive and hot temper." Ajax scolded me. "What would be her reaction that you look like this?"

Thing came to my side and also scolded me, I just rolled my eyes. "You should not show yourself to them, Thing."

Again, the hand replied to me. "Well, next time, stay still to my side."

"What does he say?" Xavier asked me.

"Thing heard that those boys are talking something offensive to Wednesday, both we lost our tantrums."

"Like what?" Ajax questioned.

I sighed, embarrassed to say it out loud. "It's nothing. But just promise me that this will never go to Wednesday. Let's just do some story for her to cover this shit." I told them.

"About that... I think Enid saw everything earlier." Xavier said. I looked at Ajax, "You called her?" I asked Enid's boyfriend.

"She wants to know my location dude, I'm just being a good boyfriend."

I rolled my eyes again. Thing suggested something to me, "Agree, let's talk to Enid, convince her to not say a word about this to her best friend." I told them.

"The issue is... Where's Enid?" we looked at the cafe and she was nowhere to be seen. Not until— "Shit." Xavier and I looked at Ajax and we both did the same thing he said.

Wednesday entered with Enid following and approached me with a serious face, as usual. She grabbed my chin and swayed my face to look at my wounds.

"Tell me, who did this art to you?" She asked.

"I just fell on the ground."

"With a scratch on your forehead and busted lips, I think the ground hit you really hard. You might fix your motives here, Y/N. Even though you are my girlfriend it doesn't mean I'll make impunities for you." Wednesday responded. As she finished scanning my poor face, she quickly grab Thing forcibly.
