I was done recording my new song in the studio and I decide to go home and sleep. I was working hard now since Jenna just came back to work and I was the one who needs to keep our finances steady. And I'm going to buy a ring tonight for Jenna.

Yes, I am ready to marry her. It's been 9 years since we've been together and Jenna showing me some signs that we must take another level in our relationship.

"Hi, Bubba!" Jenna welcomed me as I open the door and she went like a Kuala in my torso.

"Bubba... I miss you..." I weakly retorted and hide my face in her bare neck.

"Good thing I prepared some dinner for us. Come, you don't want to get cold." She was pushing me and I chuckled at her little antics. What a child.

Jenna sit me at the table while she prepares everything, and I got hungry when I smell my favourite food.

"Tada! Chicken Alfredo! It's your fave." She surprises me.

"You cooked this, love?"

"Of course, I have more free time now. I looked like a housewife in here."

I choked while drinking water when I heard her last sentence. "Are you alright, bubba?"

"Yes... Sorry, I got a dry throat..."

"Be careful, you don't want to end your life by just drinking too much water. We promised to marry together someday."

Do you see what I am talking about? She is really pointing out that she wants to get married. "Why don't we just eat?" I told her and she agrees.

While eating, it's normal that we talked about our day with each other. I told her that it was a tiring day and I need to hurry some music recordings so I can go to another contract.

"Well, I've been doing fine here. Griffin and I just chill and clean the house a bit, then cooked some dinner for us." She optimistically replied as she cuts her chicken.

"Have you been a good boy, Griffin?" I asked our dog and he was just looking at me blankly.

"He is. Your son learned a new trick and we played but he needs more practice." Jenna replied.

"Bubba... I have a question to ask if it's fine for you."

"Sure, what's up?"

"Have you ever thought to have a child on your own? Like came out from you?" I asked carefully before she thinks radical.

"Well, I wanted to. Of course, I want to carry my child and give birth to them." She replied plainly.

"Well, I'm not a man, nor have a dick to give you a family," I mumbled as I continued to eat.

"Y/N, is there something wrong?" I looked at her. "No, I was just curious, that's why I asked. Anyways, the food is superb." I changed the topic. A moment of pause was lifted and we were still eating dinner.

"Y/N, there is an advanced science that a woman can be pregnant without being mated." Jenna seriously spoke out of nowhere and I looked up.

"I know baby, but it is still your child, I have no blood or genes they can get from me. Do not mind it, please, bubba? I mean I am a better babysitter." I joked and laughed but I realized I was just laughing on my own.

Jenna stood up and didn't finish her food and proceeded to our room. "Hey, bubba? You're not yet done eating." I softly yelled to her but she didn't listen.

Maybe I hit the wrong button.

Shit, I was going to propose tomorrow. I can't let her be mad at me.

I finished my food and cleaned everything before I talk to Jenna. Maybe she needs a space to think. I knew her for a long time. I know when she's going to be mad, she needs space to cool down before we talk again.

But just maybe, I pin out the wrong topic for her. It is my fault though.

"Bubba? Are you sleeping?" I whispered as I gradually enter our room. She was just watching the tv and didn't bother to look at me. I know how to catch her attention.

I get my new hoodie that I bought and I was about to share this with Jenna. Jenna loves my hoodies, she always steals them for me but it's fine though, that's what makes her happy.

As I wear it to our dresser room, I felt an arm in my waist and a body on my back. "I'm sorry if I snapped. It feels like you are not ready to build a family with me because we can't make one." Jenna was crying on my back.

"Baby, it's not what I think. I want to have a family with you, I do. It is just my fucking mind can't accept that we can't make one. But I always support you, Jenna. If you want to do those high technologies to create a baby without fucking some dick, then I will. I will raise our children and treat them as mine too. As long you are with me." I cupped her face and comfort her.

"Please don't think of that again. Try to remember that I want to build a family with you only, no one else. Only you." Jenna sobbed as I hugged her tightly and kissed her softly.

"I will my love, stop crying now," I mumbled. As I hugged her again, she pushed me away and looked at my hoodie.

"Is this new?"

"Yes baby, wanna try?" I smiled at her and she nods without hesitation. I wear off it and pass it to her but something drops off from its pocket.

"What is this?" Jenna reached it and I stressed out that it was my proposal ring.

"It's nothing... Can I have it- oh shit." Jenna opened the box and found it without a thrill. I mean I already prepared a rooftop dinner tomorrow so I can propose to her.

"You're going to ask me?" I saw sparkles in her eyes and she was so happy about it.

"Yes, I am... But not kind of this setup... I want to be memorable but my dumb ass forgets that the ring was there." I sighed.

Jenna quickly kissed me and I carried her. "You know my answer right?" She asked.

"No. Because I didn't ask yet." I brought her down and get the ring from her, bent one knee and looked at her sincerely.

"Jenna Ortega, my love, my world, my baby, my bubba... We've been so long and I know that every day I fall in love with you. There's no doubt that I am your biggest fan and have simp since day one. Now, I am here, going to ask, will you marry this dork?" I pointed myself and we're both crying, tears of joy.

"Yes... For a hundred times you're going to ask me... I will say yes to you forever." It was a superb feeling that a simple response, can change your world.

I helped her wear the ring too and it was perfectly fit. "I love you." "I love you, forever."
