Together, Jacks' two mothers accompanied her to the museum. Jacks, just like her mama, has a deep love for history—and museum visits are their go-to dates. Jenna, on the other hand, is more into anatomy. Still, she happily supports her daughter... and her baby mama.
"You know what kind of that is, Jacks?" Y/n asked her daughter as she carries her on her shoulders.
"That's a Tyrannosaurus, Mama. I don't like that one—they eat all the other dinosaurs." Jacqueline replied.
"What's your favorite then, my baby?" Jenna jumped to their conversation.
"Brachiosaurus mommy! I love them! They eat only vegetables, like me!" Jacks happily replied to her mommy.
"You always move your peas aside, Jacks." Y/n teased her daughter.
Their bond as a family remained strong. From dinosaurs to all kinds of animals, they explored together. Jacks quickly checked on the turtles, while the two adults stood back, watching their daughter with quiet excitement.
"Thanks for coming. Jacks can't sleep because she is so excited to go here." You told to Jenna.
"All we want is for our daughter to be happy. I'd do anything for my little girl." Jenna smiled at you.
"You sure we didn't bother you at all? No surgeries for today?" You asked her.
"I've never tried my vacation leave, so here I am right now. Again, anything for Jacks." Jenna replied.
"Hey, since you're already here, come by for dinner later. I'm cooking Jacks' favorite—spaghetti." Y/n smiled widely as she asked Jenna.
"I'd love to. Let's find out if you're as good as you say you are, Chef." She teased you and you dramatically offended from her comment.
"At least I know how to work around the kitchen." You talked back to her and she did as well as your reaction earlier.
"Is that so? Do you want a kitchen war later?"
"Jacks will be our judge."
The two of you laughed together, and for a moment, everything felt light and easy. It was a special kind of joy—sharing laughter with someone you've had a crush on for so long. You found yourself quietly staring at her, just taking her in. Jenna's beauty was effortless. Whether she wore makeup or not, she was stunning—inside and out.
"Mommy, look! A mommy turtle with her babies!" Jacks called her mommy as she pulled Jenna towards to the turtles.
Y/n watched them quietly, her heart beating with a calm, steady rhythm. This was her dream—a picture of a perfect family.
While watching your little family, someone approached you. "Well, well. Isn't this a small world." You looked back and to your surprise, it was Dr. Grump.
"Dr. Grump! Wow, what a coincidence." You said to her and shook her hand.
"Actually, I've been thinking about what you said last time—about bringing your daughter here. I'd love to visit some of those places myself," the doctor replied.
"Did I mention that?" You curiously asked.
"To us, though. I'm the only one who's listening you that day." She smiled at you. Y/n got blushed from what the doctor said.
Dr. Grump is a tall woman with blonde hair, around your age, which is why you two get along so well. She's not only beautiful but also known for her kindness—she was even named Doctor of the Year. Always positive and cheerful, she carries a warm, happy demeanor wherever she goes.
