4. Decision Making

Cleo's P.O.V.

After my shower and time to think, I dressed and went to the training field to find Jett, Nico, and Spike. Right as I get to the training field, everyone stops and looks at me.

"Cleo?" I look to where the voice came from and see Jett walk up to me, from the right side of the field. Jett stops and looks at me, then continues to walk to me.

"Jett, good to see training is still going well." I greet, he nervously smiles.

"Parker didn't inform us you were back." Jett explains, I nod and understand why Parker didn't tell him about me coming back.

"As I expected him not too." I say then watch as everyone around us continues to train.

"You hardly ever came to the field unless it had something to do with Parker or Mckelty, what's up?" Jett expresses, I nod.

"Have any plans been made for Parker's birthday tomorrow?" I ask, Jett looks at me and nods.

"Declan was planning a party, with Parker's help of course." I listen and nod. Jett looks me up and down trying to read me.

"You look a bit disappointed." My eyes go slightly wide and I change my expression.

"No, just surprised. I wasn't sure if Parker would have even wanted a birthday party without me here. Then again, I wasn't sure if I was going to be back so soon." I explain, Jett nods, then looks back to the training field.

"I should get back." Jett says as he nods his head toward the training field.

"Right, of course." I watch as Jett begins to turn back to the field. Then get an idea.

"Jett?" I ask, and he turns to look at me, with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah?" I walk up to him, and look him in the eyes.

"Will you train me?" I ask, Jett's eyes light up and go wide.

"Are you sure about that? Our training sessions can get pretty intense." Jett explains, almost like he's trying to persuade me not to train.

"Yes, I'm sure." I answer, Jett nods his head , then crosses his arms.

"Alright, you'll start tomorrow. Training begins at Five am sharp and will end at Noon." Jett explains, I nod my head and Jett turns and walks away. I walk away from the training field, and head back into the manor. I walk back to my room, close the door behind me, then lay down, and relax.

A knock on my door makes me shoot up and I feel my wolf eyes come through. I breathe heavy as I try and calm myself down. I blink and feel my eyes go back to normal.

"Hey Momma, dinner is ready." Parker says, I get off my bed, open my door, then leave my room. Those in the hallway, back up against the wall and look at me with wide eyes. I walk down the hallway and round the corner. As I pass the stairs, Julian and Mckelty come down the stairs, with Mckelty holding baby Noah. Mckelty smiles as they fully come to the main level of the manor.

"Have you seen or spoken to Declan yet?" Mckelty mentally asks, I look at her as we walk toward the dining room.

"Briefly, after you guys left the infirmary. We exchanged a few words, then he left for the hospital." I explain, Kelty nods, then lightly rocks Noah.

"I also had a spat with Elder Edgar, after that. And it didn't go so well." Mckelty looks at me with wide eyes, then recovers and shakes her head.

"Would you be able to help at dinner? I won't be able to hold him and eat at the same time." I look at Mckelty and nod, as we approach the dining room.
