Mckelty's P.O.V.

"What exactly do you want me to do? Your the one that pissed her off. No wonder she's stayed away for a week." I say as I rock Noah in my arms. Declan paces mine and Julian's room, as he tries to keep himself calm.

"She won't return any of my phone calls, and neither will Parker. Myself, Jett, Nico, and Spike have all been banned from trying to get in there to talk with them. I don't know what's come over either of them, but I don't like it." Declan screeches, Noah begins to fuss, I shoot a death glare at Declan and he places his hands over his mouth.

"Well, one you did try to forcefully remove her from the hospital. Two, Axel is still her and Parker's brother, so she's going to fight tooth and nail to make sure those boys get the medical treatment they deserve. And three, her old pack is nearly fully extinct, she's trying to preserve the young ones, because to her and Parker they can be redeemed." I explain, then lay Noah down in his bassinet, and turn the moon and star mobile on.

"It still doesn't excuse the fact she took off again, and didn't bother to give any sort of updates to the situation." I shake my head before Declan is even finished.

"Put yourself in her shoes, if it was Jax or even Claire laying in those hospital beds, wouldn't you be doing the same thing she is? She is a protector, she'll never stop being one. She protects those that need protecting, the ones who can't protect themselves. It's in her nature, and remember, you can take the wolf out of a trauma inducing pack, but you can't take the trauma out of the wolf." I say, Declan looks at me with shock filled eyes.

"Dammit, I've been so worried about protecting her from herself, that I became blind to the fact that she's been doing what's right for what little family she has left. She's never going to forgive me." Declan puts his head in his hands. I pull my phone out and scroll through my call log, until I find Cleo's name. I click call and hold the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" Cleo roughly asks, I lightly chuckle then recover.

"Sorry, did I wake you?" Cleo clears her voice then lightly hums.

"Was just dozing off. What's going on?" I roll my eyes, and Declan looks at me.

"I should be asking you that. Since, we haven't had any sort of updates since last week." I exclaim, Cleo let's out a long breath.

"They are slowly coming too. Not fully awake, but they have been showing signs the last two days, that they will wake up at some point." Cleo says, I look at Declan and he nods his head.

"Declan and I are coming up there. We need to discuss next steps, and you know as well as anyone, its better to handle business in person, rather than over the phone." Cleo lets out a stunned breath, then goes quiet.

"Momma, you may want to get in here!" Parker says in the background, Cleo breaths heavily.

"I'll see you when you get here, Kel." Cleo hangs the phone up and I look to Declan. He looks down then shakes his head.

"She'll never forgive me for what I did." Declan cries out, I side eye him and shake my head.

"If you keep pitying yourself, it'll only make things worse." I tell him, Julian comes walking in the room, and looks between the two of us.

"What's going on?" Julian walks over to the bassinet and looks down at Noah.

"We got ahold of Cleo." I say, Julian's head shoots up and he looks at me.

"And, did the boys make it? Are they going to make it? What about Parker, is he okay?" Julian throws questions nearly a million miles a minute. I hold my hand up and Julian quiets down.
