"I need you to meet with him again. Tell him I got nothing out of you. We need more information if we want to rescue my family," he said.

"I'm a terrible liar."

"Well you're going to have to lie if you want to save my family."

"I suppose I could give it a shot."

"That's my girl," he grinned and wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into his chest. "I don't know what I would do without you," he whispered and kissed the top of my head.

*Later in the day*

Laila's POV

"Hello? Who is this? How did you get this number?" A confused Liam spoke into the other line.

"Liam, it's me," I fake whispered.

"Laila?"

"Yeah."

"Why are you calling me?"

"I need to talk to you," I muttered, wiping my sweaty palms on my pants. God I was nervous.

"I thought Harry-"

"He's asleep," I interrupted.

"But he was furious when he saw me," Liam said, more to himself than me.

"All the yelling must've worn him out," I replied.

"Are you sure he's out? Like out out?"

"Positive, he's snoring, rather loudly I might add," I hissed.

"Well if you're sure he's out, meet me on the 3rd floor, room 104."

"Alright-"

Before I could say anything else, the line went dead. I gave Harry a quick thumbs up and he grinned before motioning for me to leave.

I took a deep breath before stepping into the elevator and pressing the button for the 3rd floor. Time was moving too quickly for my liking as the elevator dinged, notifying me that I was now on the 3rd floor.

My hands were shaking slightly and I quickly shook them to attempt to calm my nerves.

The signs on the floor indicated Liam's room was down the left hallway. My barefeet treaded down the carpeted hallway and I soon found my self in front of it. Room 104. My hand raised to knock on the door, but it swung open to reveal a frantic Liam.

"Thank god you are here," he exclaimed before pulling me in and closing the door.

Zayn stood in the corner smirking at me and another man who I didn't recognize stood beside him.

"Glad you could make it," Zayn said coldly and motioned for me to sit down in one of the chairs they had sitting around a small table.

"So Laila, tell me what happened after Liam left," Zayn demanded, but not as harshly as you would have thought.

"He was furious. I mean he wouldn't even come any closer than 20 feet from me," I said, trying to appear shooken up from everything that happened.

"He asked me what was going on, and so I told him that you were an old friend of mine."

"And he bought that?" Liam snorted.

"Of course not, well, not at first," I chuckled nervously.

"So what happened next?" The man next to Zayn asked.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" I asked before replying to Zayn.

"Oh my bad," Liam chuckled. "This is Paul."

"Oh," I said. So he was the man Harry was talking to on the phone. "Well Paul, I went off into this crazy story about how Liam and I met at a film festival years ago and we really hit it off. He didn't exactly seem happy with the story, but he did ask what Liam was doing in our room."

"And what did you say?" Zayn asked.

"I said that Liam found out I was in the state where he happened to be vacationing at the time and wanted to visit. He had called the hotel room while Harry was gone and I told him to come up and visit."

"Was he angry that you told Liam to come up and visit without asking him first?"

"Oh yeah, he was furious. He said I could have escaped or told Liam what was going on."

"But he never suspected that you were working with Liam to ruin his career and potentially his life?"

"That would've been a serious accusation that he would have had to look into before Liam even came in to see me," I said, quickly wiping my hands on my pants.

"Well he's a pretty smart guy," Liam muttered.

"Not that smart," Paul snorted.

"So what did he end up doing?"

"Well, he smashed a lamp on the floor and knocked over the coffee table. Then he slammed the door shut to the bedroom and hasn't come out since," I replied.

"He must really be pissed if he wore himself out enough to sleep," Zayn chuckled.

"I guess so."

"Well Laila, I have to admit that I believe you. If Harry had found out what we've been doing, he probably would have killed you. Then he would have come after us," Liam said.

"So we are still going along with the new plan?"

"Yeah, which I should probably tell you about," he sighed.

"We can't take you home immediately, because in order for this plan to work, Harry needs to follow us to Russia where we happen to be holding his family. We need to move them to another location where Harry should show up. As soon as he does, we will capture him and lock him up with his family. Then we can take you back home and Harry Styles will no longer be a nuisance to you and I. That is, if you will put your trust for him aside and in us," Liam said, looking at me for an answer.

"You have my trust, I want to go home," I said, looking him right in the eyes.
