*Several years later*

After years of living in Harry's old flat, we decided to move on to a larger home.

I had finally graduated from the university, and as my education grew, so did Harry and I's relationship. I had learned more about him in those four years than I had about anyone else in my lifetime. It was comforting to know that I had someone who truly cared for me.

Niall and Zayn visited us quite often, they even had their own rooms in the house. In fact, they spent most of the week with us.

It was an amazing thing to be surrounded by people I barely even knew years ago who are now considered some of my closest friends. Niall and Zayn were two genuine people I knew that I could always count on.

Ever since the fall of Liam, Harry and I had been receiving endless thank yous from all over the world. Apparently Liam didn't just have a hold on Harry's family, but many others and individuals as well. It also turned out that Zayn was never truly working for him out of his own free will. His family was threatened as well if he didn't provide Liam with his service.

The gang that they had created when Harry was in high school was all from Liam pressuring Zayn to be a part of the gang with him. Zayn never really wanted to do anything bad, he just wanted to remain friends with Liam.

It was good to know that all the chaos Liam had created, was brought to an end with his downfall.

Eventually, Harry chose to end his boxing career and teach defense classes to those who needed it. He believed that no one should have to worry about their safety because they couldn't defend themselves. Soon enough, he had become one of the most praised boxing instructors in all of Europe. Of course, that didn't stop him from sparring from time to time.

Over the past couple years, Harry had been dropping subtle hints that he wanted to be more than just my boyfriend and about 3 months ago, he proposed to me.

I know I know, typical couple stuff, but it was one of the first real commitments I had to make. It was a special moment for us, as well as our families. Normally, I would have thought it out more, but my excitement got the best of me, and so I said yes. In that moment, the only thing I knew was that I didn't want to lose Harry.

Niall had begged us to let him plan everything, which basically meant let Zayn organize everything but the catering. Fortunately, Zayn agreed to help out and we couldn't have found better wedding planners.

Of course, Harry wasn't big on waiting, so we married a month later. Even though it was so cliche to say, it truly was one of the happiest days of my life. I never expected to find love until I was way beyond my college years, but I guess I got lucky.

As for Harry's past, it was left behind. Although he was still a little paranoid at times, he was glad to have gotten rid of the weight on his shoulder. We both knew that we would never be completely safe, but we were willing to risk it. If the time came, I would be by his side to help him face old enemies of the past.

It's funny how you imagine what your future will turn out to be, but then life throws a curve ball at you. Luckily, my curve ball was Harry.
