I Hope You Forgot

chapter twelve

I remember years ago, someone told me I should take, caution when it comes to love,

I did...

Tell them all I know now, shout it from the rooftops, write it on the skyline, all we had is gone now.

Tell them I was happy, and my heart is broken, all my scars are open, tell them what I hoped would be

Impossible....

I woke up as the plane was landing. I looked out the window as the airport came into view. After the plane landed, I grabbed my stuff and walked into the airport, looking around for friends, or family. Any sign of someone I knew. I had fallen asleep on the plane crying, and I didn't know how long I had been asleep for, so I hoped my eyes weren't red and puffy. I ran my fingers through my hair as I walked outside, waiting for a car to pull up with someone I knew in it. I sniffled a bit as I saw a car pull up in front of me. I smiled when I saw Korie pop out. I started walking over to her. She didn't see where I was and it looked like she was getting ready to call me when I tapped her on the shoulder.

"HOLY SHIT, KAT, YOU SCARED THE FUCK OUT OF ME!!" she yelled, engulfing me in a hug.

"I missed you too." I said, laughing. We put my bags in the trunk of the car and I got in the passenger seat.

"Its a few hours home from here." she said, slipping into the drivers seat. "If i get tired, then I'm pulling over and you're driving the rest of the way home."

I laughed a little, but it wasn't a real laugh. It was one of those light laughs that showed something else was on your mind. Trust me, getting home was not what was clouding my brain right about now.

"You missed so much while you were gone. Okay, so first of all, that bitch--" Korie started going on and on about some guy and how she wants to kill him now. I leaned my head on the window and closed my eyes, not going to sleep, but just thinking about how crazy the day was....

"SO WE GOTTA GOOO!!! ITS TIME TO GET UUPP!!" yelled the three boys for the second morning in a row. I sat up and tossed whatever was close to me.

"SO WE GOTTA GOOO!!! ITS TIME TO SHUT UUPP!! CUZ I WANNA SLEEEEP!! SO LEAVE ME ALONEEEEE!!!" I yelled back. They laughed.

"Why are you so grumpy when we wake you up? Its 12 in the afternoon!" Niall complained. I buried my face back into my pillow.

"Maybe if you guys didn't keep me out so late I would get some sleep and I wouldn't be all grumpy." I said, my voice being muffled by the pillow.

"I give up. Let her sleep." Liam said and walked out. "Cmon Niall, lets go eat something."

"Food!?!?!" Niall said, his eyes going wide with excitement. He ran into the kitchen with Liam.

"Finally." i mumbled, closing my eyes to go back to sleep.

"Kat? You awake, love?" I heard Harry's deep, raspy voice, and my head shot up.

"What? Oh, yeah I'm awake." I said sleepily. He chuckled.

"But you're still tired." he said, sitting next to me on the bed.

"Yeah I guess. I'm hungry." I said.

"I'll cook you something?" Harry suggested. I smiled.

"Thanks, Harry!" I kissed his cheek and he laughed and got up, going into the kitchen. I got up and slipped on a shirt and some shorts. I walked out of the room after about 30 minutes.

"I was just about to come get you. Your food's ready." Harry said and handed me a plate with bacon and eggs.

"BACON!!!" I yelled happily. Bacon was my favorite food. I smiled as I ate. "Thanks." i said.
