15 minutes later...

He didn't reply. I must have struck a nerve. I sucked my teeth and got up to grab something to eat in the kitchen.

30 minutes later I heard a loud banging on the front door. I jumped. My mouth flew open.

Tiana rushed from her room. "Ashleigh a who that??" I was too nervous to answer.

"Ash?" Tiana shouted and snapped her fingers in front of me.

"Mi nuh know!" I stuttered.

Tiana rushed to the front door and I walked timidly behind her. I had a feeling it was Star boy, if it was anyone else they would have banged the living room and not my bedroom door.

"A who yuh?" Tiana shouted.

"Weh Ashleigh deh?" the person asked.

"Yuh nuh have name sah?" Tiana croaked and sucked her teeth.

Tiana opened the living room door. Star boy pushed past Tiana and entered the house. He didn't greet her. She stared at him with her eyes and mouth wide open.

Star boy stood by the door and peered at me through the corner of his eyes.

"Weh yuh want?"

Star boy reached for my arm and I rejected his invitation. I walked to my room and left him standing in the living room. I felt his presence behind me. When we got to the room he pulled me into his arms and kissed me. I forced from his hold and pushed him away.

"You fucking drunk!" I snarled.

"Don't come back here drunk!"

"You still love me, Ashleigh?" Star boy interrogated.

I sucked my teeth

"Yuh want therapy!"

He sucked his teeth and trudged back and forth.

He dropped himself on my bed and kicked off his slippers.
