Mari x Stairs

A flaw with our outgoing love

》ST: Mari..

I called out.

》MA: Oh, stairs! You're finally awake! You passed out after Omori stepped on you.

I gasped.

》ST: Your brother? How could he? I can't believe he--

》MA: Shhh..

She pointed towards his room.

》MA: He's sleeping right now, and so are my parents..

I was confused.

》ST: So?

》MA: They would never support me being stairsexual..

I gasped.

》MA: On top of all of that, this boy Hero suddenly walked in on my life! I heard from a nearby bystander he likes me..

》ST: Oh Mari, I hope you know I'm the only one for you..

She grabbed onto my railing and sat down on my steps, hugging the railing.

》MA: Ofcourse you are!

She sighs after awhile and let's go.

》ST: Why did you stop?

》MA: It feels like someone is watching us..

She turns around and looks around.

》??: Mari? What are you doing up so late?

The petite-ly shown boy rubs his eyes. Ah yes of course his classic pajamas, black and white. I can recognize that from anywhere. That is obviously Omori.

》MA: What are you doing up bro?

》OM: I heard someone speaking, it sounded like it came from you.

She looks around.

》MA: No? I don't recall speaking..

He looked around also.

》OM: Well who else would it be?

》OM: Were you speaking to the Stairs again?

An outrageous fight breaks out between the two. Just think, all because of stairs..

》OM: I bet you love the stairs more than you love me!

》MA: That's not true Omori! Quit throwing useless accusations around like that!

The argument continues.

》MA: WELL ATLEAST IM NOT A VIOLIN FREAK LIKE YOU ARE.

He looks as if she just insulted his mother.

》OM: SEE, YOU DO LOVE HIM MORE THAN ME!

Mari tries to go up and hug him.

》OM: IN FACT YOU NEVER LOVED ME AT ALL.

He dramatically pushed Mari off of him.

》ST: Mari!

She desperately reached for my railing. Finally she did. But by then it was too late. Her head had already touched the floor. She let's go slowly, not because she gave up, but because she's dead.
