I sit here, looking outrageously bored. I just want math to end PLEAAAAAAASE!

"You have another question to answer," Ms. Dela Crus speaks.

As students, we all sigh.

"Now, John crossed that room and his age is half the age as Paul," she chuckled.

Wait. Is it the Beatles?!?!? I sigh and daydream about them, as they are one of my fave bands while my other classmates talk about some crappy Taylor Swift.

"...George is 5 years older than Paul."

Totally NOT true, miss. It's the reverse! Ugh... But OH MY GOD IT'S REALLY THEM.

"Their ages in total is 130. Find the age of each."

I immediately freeze. I have to do a Beatle problem! I close my eyes and fall to the ground.

"...Chloe? Chloe? You alright? You fainted," Monse tells me as I wake up. Now everyone in this class is looking at me. Some are even giggling. I must have embarrassed meself. I blush as I straighten my back and solve the problem.

I write down:

SOLUTION in block method

130-5=125 (The 5 is for George.)

125÷5=25 (Because Paul gets 2 and is half older than John which is so not true and George, two again. John is only 1 block.)

25= the value of one block

John is 25, Paul is 50 and George is 55.

"Miss, where is Ringo?" I ask.

"Wait."

And my classmates volunteered to answer the problem. Yes! I got it right.

"And Ringo," she looks at me, "came and he was ¼ younger than Paul. Answer."

I grin as I answer the problem.

50÷4=12.5

Lol. Richard is 12 and 6 months old. How funny.

I volunteer to answer. After copying my answer on the board, I turn to the class to explain.

"So Paul is 50? We'll use that. We will divide the age by four, and we get that Richard-"

"No, silly. It's Ringo!" Caterina answers.

"Richard's stage name is Ringo Starr. Anyway, Ringo is 12 years and 6 months old," I chuckle.

"Thank you, Chloe and thank you class. Goodbye," I go to my seat.

"Good bye and thank you, Miss Dela Cruz."

And the teacher left the room.
