"Merry Christmas." A man, presumably Mr. Roberts, greeted with a dazed look.

"He'll be alright." Mr. Weasley assures, marching off the campsite, "Sometimes, when a person's memory is modified, it makes him a bit disoriented for a while—and that was a big thing they had to make him forget."

Mr. Weasley, along with the Weasley children, Hermione, Harry, and Jamie used a Portkey disguised in an old rubber tire to arrive at Stroatshead Hill, then walking back to the Burrow, followed by a cry echoing along the lane.

"Oh thank goodness, thank goodness!" Mrs. Weasley, with Aster on her hands, above a Daily Prophet newspaper, ran towards them, wearing bedroom slippers, her face pale and strained, "Arthur—I've been worried—so worried—"

She continued to hug her husband on one hand, as the newspaper fell to the ground.

"Scenes of Terror at the Quidditch World Cup" The headline read, showing a photo of the Dark Mark over the treetops.

"You're all right." Mrs. Weasley muttered, distracted, "you're alive...Oh, boys..." She then hugged the Weasley twins so tight that they could've actually died at the moment.

As Mrs. Weasley let go of the hug, still saying apologies to two of her children, she gives Jamie her son.

"Hi, my baby." Jamie cooed, "Mommy's back. I'm sorry I made you worry." She frowned and continued to give Aster numerous kisses on his head, "You've grown so much! It's only been a day...I'm sorry I left you all alone, mi niño." and followed the Weasleys inside the house, crammed into the kitchen.

Mr. Weasley asked Bill to hand the newspaper, which he did.

"I knew it." Mr. Weasley said heavily, "Ministry blunders—culprits not apprehended—lax security—Dark wizards running unchecked—national disgrace...Who wrote this? Ah, of course...Rita Skeeter."

"That woman's got it in for the Ministry of Magic!" Percy fumed, "Last week she was saying we're wasting out time quibbling about cauldron thickness, when we should be stamping out vampires! As if it wasn't specifically stated in paragraph twelve of the Guidelines for the Treatment of Non-Wizard Part-Humans—"

"Do us a favor, Perce," Bill yawned, "and shut up."

"Does Percy need to shut up?" Jamie asks Aster in a baby tone, holding him up in the air, "Yes? Yes, he does." She nods as he coos in response.

"You heard Aster, Perce." Charlie leans back on the dining chair he was sitting on.

"I hope he wasn't an inconvenience to you, Mrs. Weasley." Jamie turns to the red-haired woman, who assures that he wasn't an inconvenience at all. "Okay, well, I'll be getting more sleep." She announces and steps inside Ginny's room, instantly plopping down on the bed.

"I missed you, my baby." Jamie says weakly as she closes her eyes, "Mommy's so happy you're safe..."
