The end of July was now around the corner, and Tonks was doing well for herself; a great childhood, supportive parents, a stable job, and now, taking three teenagers and a literal baby under her wing—and under her roof.
"FUCKING GIVE THAT BACK, BLAISE!" Jamie shouts, chasing the tall, dark-skinned boy across the backyard.
"No way!" Blaise beams, his demeanor was more positive since he was rescued from his own house, "I wanna see what you were trying to write to Malfoy!" He shouts at the red-haired girl, mocking her tone of voice when she was around Malfoy.
"Fuck you." Jamie scowls, giving Blaise the middle finger before entering the house and into the bathroom right behind the staircase to the second floor.
She looks down and sees a pool of blood on her bright pink shorts. She pulls her shorts back up and leaves the bathroom.
"JAMIE-" Blaise notices, pointing at the pool of blood growing, "YOU'RE—YOU'RE BLEEDING!"
"It's fine." She sighs, finally grabbing the letter Blaise got a hold of, "It's normal, and I'm just gonna get some extra napkins upstairs."
"Nor-normal?" The dark-haired boy sits in the living area, wondering on how bleeding is normal for her. He stands up and dials the number of the British Ministry of Magic.
"British Ministry of Magic, how can I help you?" The voice on the phone greets.
"Yes, hello." Blaise takes a moment to sigh, letting out some tension built up in him, "Is Miss Nymphadora Tonks there? It's a bit of an emergency."

"So why was she bleeding?" Blaise asks Tonks, who was now inside the house.
"It's...it's a sign." She replies, "A sign that she's going to womanhood."
"Well, why can't it be something less bloody?" He puts his legs int front of him and hugs it.
"I don't know, Blaise." Tonks crosses her arms, "Now, give this to her. Chocolate helps."
Blaise nods and enters the guest bedroom where Jamie was, lying on her stomach, her eyes glued to her phone.
Hi, Scar. I didn't kill Diana. And I couldn't respond easily bc some of my personal problems. I'm currently in a boarding school in the UK. But I'll message back as soon as I can. I promise.
Jamie sends, and Blaise catches her attention. "Jesus Christ. You scared me." She clutches her heart.
"Sorry." He sits down beside her, "Chocolate?"
"Yeah." She opens her mouth as he feeds her a tiny piece of it.
"...What was the letter you were going to owl to Malfoy?"
Her face turns redder than her hair, "It's a thank you...for the Christmas gift he gave me."
"Be more specific, James."
"Fine." She rolls her eyes, "I joked to him about our first interaction, and I thanked him for the gift."
"When did you first meet then?"
"Too many questions." She throws a pillow to his face, causing him to land onto the bedroom floor.
"Ow."
"You deserved it, bitch." She replies with a proud grin on her face.
