The sun was setting and the Quidditch World Cup was about to start. Mr. Weasley, all of his children, Mr. Diggory and his son Cedric, Hermione, and the two orphaned Potter children were walking up the stairs.

"Blimey, Dad. How far up are we?" Ron asks.

A man with long-ass platinum blonde hair, possibly a wig, walks up to them a floor below and snidely replies, "Well, put it this way: If it rains...you'll be the first to know." Malfoy walks behind the man and puts his right hand on the railing, and chuckles a bit at the comment.

Malfoy looks back up to see Jamie a second time, his pupils dilating out of attraction.

"Hi, Malfoy." Jamie leans towards the railing, waving towards the platinum-blonde boy with a bright smile on her face.

"Father and I are in the minister's box..." Malfoy ignores Jamie and begins to boast, "by personal invitation of Cornelius Fudge himself!"

His father, hits him with one side of his cane, telling him not to boast. "There's no need with these people."

Hermione and Harry roll their eyes and turn around, but Malfoy's father hit Harry's shoe, "Do enjoy yourself, won't you? While you can."

"Come on up." Mr. Weasley says, "Take your seats. I told you these seats would be worth waiting for."

"Hah, come on!" Fred exclaims as Ludo Bagman and the Minister of Magic enter the Minister's Box.

"Ladies and gentlemen...welcome!" Ludo Bagman greets, "Welcome to the final of the four hundred and twenty- second Quidditch World Cup!"

The spectators screamed and clapped out of excitement as flags were waved, adding their discordant national anthems to the racket.

The huge blackboard opposite them was wiped clear of its last message and now showed, BULGARIA: 0, IRELAND: 0

"And now, without further ado, allow me to introduce...the Bulgarian National Team Mascots!"

The right-hands side of the stands, which was a solid block of scarlet, roared in approval.

"I wonder what they've brought," Mr. Weasley wondered, leaning forward in his seat. He immediately whipped off his glasses and polished them hurryingly on his robes, "Veela!"

"Veela?-" -Jamie

"What are veel—?" -Harry

A hundred of them were gliding out onto the field. Veela were the most beautiful women that the twins have ever seen, but they weren't human. This puzzled the both f them because; what could make their skin shine moon-bright like that, or their white-gold hair fan out behind them without wind...but then the music started, and they stopped worrying about them not being human.

They stopped worrying at all, to be specific.

The mascots begun to dance, and Jamie's mind had gone blank. It seemed as though all that mattered in the world was watching the veela dance.

As they danced faster and faster, wild but intrusive thoughts came to Jamie's mind. Jumping off the stadium seems impressive. I think I should do it? NO. DON'T. FUCKING-
