Red and green || jegulus

The party

Regulus pov:

This party is fucking boring.
Everybody is with their friends, and Pandora left me for her rawenclaw friends.
I'm sitting in the corner of the room in a red sofa. I could just go if I want to, but I wanna make sure Pandora doesn't get to drunk. The party is loud, and three Big speakers is playing loudly. There is a silence spell over them, so if a teacher walks by outside they won't hear it.

Suddenly someone gets up on the table, in the other side of the room. It takes me about a minute to realise who it is. Sirius is standing on the table looking drunk, and with and red cup in his hand. He takes out his wand, and turns out the speakers with it. Everyone quickly looks up at him.
"Everyone please look up here he say"
I have never seen him so drunk before. Not even after all the fights he had with our parents.

"I'm sorry for interrupting but I have something I want to tell everyone"
He looks down at Remus, the friend with a lot of scars and smiles.

"Me and Remus are boyfriends, and I don't care wha-"
he falls down the table. Then he quickly stands up again. He has definitely had a drink to much.

There is silence for a few seconds, where everyone is just looking at them. Then some Hufflepuff kids starts clapping, and other people begin to clap too. I don't clap.
It's disgusting, what would mother think if she found out Sirius was into boys. I don't even want to imagine the rage she would have.
Then the music turns back on, and everyone goes back to drinking and dancing. I see Sirius and Remus sneak out of the common room.

I walk up ton Pandora and her friends. Pandora looks up at me. She then leans her head on my shoulder.
"Hellowwww baby black."
I just ignore her and turn to her friend, i think her name is Holly Whitlock. I don't know much about her, but i noticed she hadn't been drinking all night.
"Can you make sure Pandora comes back to her dorm safe?" I ask her
"Yeah sure"she says.

"Baby black where are you goinggggg" Pandora ask and starts sobbing. I have never seen her so drunk before.
"I'm going back to my dorm" I say and pull her away from me.
"Fineeee" she says and turn around to her other friend.

I'm just about to leave when someone taps my shoulder. I turn around and see it was Holly.
"What's up?"
"I was just wondering if you wanted to go with me to hogsmeade on Sunday?" She ask.

I'm not really sure what to respond, so I just nod as say;"sure", even tho I'm not.
"Bye then" she says and turn back to her friends.

I walk out of the common room, and start walking to my own dorm. On the way there I see Sirius and Remus talking on the floor in one if the corridors. As I walk past them I get eye contact with Sirius. He smiles at me, but I just start to walk even faster away from him. He is not my brother anymore, he left me. And I have grown up learning that being gay was horrible, so why would it be different with him.

When i get back to my room, barty is on his bed with his homework.
"How was the party?"
"Horrible" I say and crash onto my bed.

When I wake up the next day, neither Barty or Evan is in the room. I get dressed and walk down to the great hall for breakfast. It's Saturday today, and our quidditch team captain for the slytherin team, has decided that today we will be practicing quidditch all day. The next game is coming up, where we have to play against griffendor.

In the locker room we talk about the new strategy, and the upcoming games for the new season.
When we come down to the quidditch field, we see that the griffendor team is also there. Our captain and the griffendor captain starts to fight about who is going to use the quidditch field. It's end up with griffendor and slytherin starts playing against each other for "practice".

I'm the seeker for slytherin, and potter is for griffendor. The match begins, and it takes me about five minutes before I spot the snitch. I starts flying towards it, and Potter quickly notices it and follows me.

I end up catching the snitch, and the griffendor team decides to leave the field out of shame for losing to a slytherin. As they do our teams takes a break, and as I sit alone of one of the benches, someone sits down beside me.
I look up to see Potter.

"Hey Regulus, can we talk?"
I sigh. "What do you want Potter?"
"I just want to say sorry for what happened at the train" he says and looks at me.
"Potter it doesn't matter now, it's in the past."
We sit for a couple of seconds in silence.

"Do you wanna go to hogsmeade with me and my friends tomorrow?" He asks.
"I'm can't I'm going with Holly Whitlock."
He looks down
"Oh um ok, I'm gonna go now, see you around" he say and leaves.

The rest of the day is pretty boring. I just do the normal stuff I do when I don't have anything to do.
I read, sleep, smoke, draw, do even more homework or just sit and think.

I notice that every time Potter is near me he is always staring at me, and looking away when I look back at him.

For example, I was sitting outside at my favourite tree, and drawing when he and Peter Pettigrew came outside. They started to play football, but still I could see Potter always stoat me, and not focusing on the game. I was a little weirded out by it.

Holly had also tried to talk to me a few times, but the conversation ended quickly. I'm a pretty boring person to talk to if you aren't close with me.

She talked about her life at home, and showed me pictures of her cat named Confetti. She was nice and all, but we just didn't have a lot in common. I just know tomorrow at hogsmeade, it would be a very awkward day.

I felt a little bad about that I couldn't be more interested in her. I was just happy she was good at talking so I didn't have to do much talking. She was also really beautiful.

She had long blonde hair, and green eyes. Her face was covered in freckles, and when she smiled you could see her dimples. She was tall but not taller than me, and always had a black headband in her hair.

I wish I could have been a less boring person. Maybe then I would have had more friends, and feel better about myself.
Not many people made me feel good about myself.
