In a sort of a Daze

*Sabre*

I realize that I'm running out of breath as I swim so with a push upwards I breach the surface of the lake and take in the air. Blinking my eyes to get used to the light again, the sun glistens down on me.

I wonder what it'd be like to fly amongst the clouds...

W̶i̶n̶g̶s̶ ̶c̶u̶r̶l̶ ̶a̶r̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶I̶ ̶s̶i̶t̶ ̶u̶p̶o̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶a̶r̶g̶e̶ ̶t̶r̶e̶e̶,̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶l̶a̶u̶g̶h̶s̶ ̶b̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶h̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶r̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶s̶h̶o̶u̶l̶d̶e̶r̶;̶ ̶I̶ ̶l̶o̶o̶k̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶e̶e̶ ̶b̶l̶u̶e̶ ̶e̶y̶e̶s̶.̶

I let out a groan before untying my bandana from my wrist and right back over my eyes; thank goodness that the bandana is so resistant to the elements. It appears that the guards are still patrolling. I wanna trust someone...

Pulling myself to shore I stretch before making a beeline towards my stuff. I grab my shirt and pull it on before throwing on the rest. I sit down on the grass and wait for the guards to return. Pulling out some of the grass, I begin linking the blades together.

You know what, I'm bored! My eyes land on the intertwined blades of grass. Consume. Giggling, I go to take a chomp.

"Sir Do Not!" Angry Guard shouts running to my side with Non-Angry right behind.

"Man." I cross my arms across my chest and look down, I hear Non-Angry guard giggle; a smile appears on my face which gains even more happy giggles from said guard.

"We should hit the road." Angry says looking at the sky. They begin walking and I follow, dragging Non-Angry with me.

"Hey wait up! I have a question!" I say as I catch up to the guard.

"What is your question sir?" They ask me as they look down at me.

"How hard are we hitting the road?" I ask with a grin, looking directly at their face.

They stare at me and Non-Angry laughs at the silence. "You..." Angry sighs as they shake their head before continuing walking.

'Sabre...'

I freeze and look around, body tense.

"Sir? What is it?" Non-Angry asks but I put my hand up in a silent command. Both guards nod.

'Your alive... But why are you so tense? I- I am a friend. Hmm, This form is smaller and younger but this will do...'

A stick cracks from the left and the guards get in front of me with their weapons pointed in the direction of the sound. A lamb hops out of some bushes and bleats at us, before walking forward with shaky steps. One more bleat and I push by my guards.

"Oh! It's a little sheep! Smol little fella." I gently bring my hand gently through its messy wool. "Where's your herd? I'm taking the lamb with, he won't be able to survive out here all alone." The lamb looks up at me with bright blue eyes, eyes way too wise for a baby.

The sheep knows and I feel like I should know what is going on.

Till suddenly a plop is heard and we all look in the direction the noise came from. The guards tense but I let out a squeal making the guards look at me. I pat both guards. "Bucket?" Angry hands me a bucket, ooh the bucket has shells! Was Angry collecting shells? Angry looks away but I can't tell if they're embarrassed or not.

I run towards the sound and crouch down. "Hello little Axolotl are you okay?" I gently scoop the Axolotl up and gently put them in the bucket. I smile as the lamb comes over and bleats at the axolotl. The guards wander over and Non-Angry points with a gasp.

"What is that? It's so cute!" Non-Angry crouches down beside me and looks at the axolotl.

"An axolotl? Have you- Have you never seen or heard of one before?" I questioned the guard, said guard shakes his head but giggles a little.

"Sir we are being watch-" Angry begins before a phantom swoops down boops me with its face then lands on Angry's head; much to the guards displeasure, and makes a laughing noise. I laugh and Non-Angry seems to think it's funny too.

Angry seems to vibrate but calms down before anything happens. I wonder what that was about.

I glance down at the axolotl and smile, before bush rustling is heard, I glance up and look at the closest bush to see a bush looking being with red eyes; a Glare with a black bowtie. What a defined mob. :)

The Glare comes forward and, oOOOh Flowers! The Glare has flowers! OOOOOH.

(What will you guys say? Also what do you guys wanna do with Dad- I mean Sabre! Also don't forget the portal is coming. This is the end of this chapter, I decided that the next chapter is going to show what is happening in the kingdom while Sabre is gone. Also have fun!)

Angry is 7'

Non-Angry is 6' 9"

Ice Steve is exactly 7'

Comfy Yellow 6' 2"

Real Tulip and The Impersonator are 6' 3"

Lavender the Violet Steve is 6' 5"

Pepper the Green Steve is 6' 

Sabre is 5' 2" (He will straight up tackle someone though)
