*Sabre*

Some of my little fellas began getting antsy, which set off alarms within my head. From where I was leaning against Sage, I combed my fingers through Sheepy's wool. The alarm bells continue to ring.

I squeeze my eyes shut. T̶h̶e̶ s̶k̶y̶ w̶a̶s̶ d̶a̶r̶k̶e̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ r̶a̶p̶i̶d̶l̶y̶. A̶s̶ a̶ s̶w̶o̶r̶d̶ i̶s̶ u̶n̶s̶h̶e̶a̶t̶h̶e̶d̶ a̶n̶d̶ a̶ b̶o̶w̶s̶t̶r̶i̶n̶g̶ i̶s̶ p̶u̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ b̶a̶c̶k̶. A̶ c̶o̶u̶n̶t̶d̶o̶w̶n̶ b̶e̶g̶i̶n̶s̶, a̶ p̶o̶r̶t̶a̶l̶ l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶s̶ u̶p̶, a̶ r̶o̶a̶r̶ e̶c̶h̶o̶e̶s̶ t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ t̶h̶e̶ s̶i̶l̶e̶n̶c̶e̶.

I snap my eyes open and sit up, Sage's eyes lock onto mine. The confusion and worry is all I see.

"Sage... Did you say something?" I ask.

"I asked if something was wrong." He tilts his head at me.

"I feel like something is going to happen... Something bad." I explain. Should I tell him about my visions? Perhaps what I'm hearing? No, I can't do that... "Forget it.. I'm just paranoid."

"Sire, If you feel like something is wrong you can tell me. You can tell me anything and I will protect what you told me with my life, I will protect you with my life." He tells me, a glint of protectiveness appears in his eyes. I can see something else but I can't figure it out.

  "Please don't lay down your life for me. It's not worth it." I pull my legs up to my chest and Sheepy rams into my legs.

  "Si- Sabre, you are worth more then you let on and know. So much more then you know." Sage replied, whispering the last part. What is it that he knows?

  "Yeah, Sorry about that. I'm just used to this." I mumble as I look up at him.

  Sage looks at me with a frown before he sighs and mumbles something. "The leaders put too much pressure on you. You-" Lightning strikes in the distance and smoke rises. Something caught on fire. Sage's eyes widen and the creatures start panicking.

  Yxyaria takes a map out and hands it to me, a few smudges of writing on it. 'Misty, Danger, Attack.' Azul flies around me in worry and some run off in the direction that the lightning came from, in the direction of the fire. I can't stop myself as a growl comes from deep in my throat.

  I really hate lightning... and fire. I haven't had the greatest time with either of those.

[Before the lightning and fire, during the patrol]

*Misty*

   Walking with a skip my steps as I walk past trees and flowers, silently pocketing things once in a while. Flowers and petals alike littered my wavy hair, I think when we return to the kingdom that I'll make a garden, well a mini one, inside my room. Or I can decorate the entire guard building, no one will bat an eye!

  I push through some foliage and continue on my way. I've seen animals and a spider or two but nothing threatening.

  Something purple catches my eyes and I turn to see purple particles. Huh? I decide to follow the particles. Some evaporate in the air while others are carried away in the wind. Peeking through some leaves, freezing immediately.

   A portal glows a swirling purple, obsidian rises around it, and standing in front of the portal was a demonic looking being. Something tells me this is a very, very bad sign. The being walks to the side of the portal and my eyes land on the grass in front the portal, it was burnt to a crisp. Ash rises in the air.
