"Where have you lovebirds been?" I sat next to Dom on the lounge chair and watched as everyone tried to play 'fair' ball game. "Why aren't you playing Dom?" "Nuh Ugh! Girl I just got my nails done, I can't afford to be looking like Salvation Army! That's another bitches job, football def wasn't made fa me" I couldn't help but chuckle a bit "Champagne?" Dom asked as he poured mine in a flute. "So how's Mr. Mystery, man? How's he coming along?" I seized the opportunity to ask the question that has been on my mind since that night "Dom? You never told me how you knew him..." he chuckles, "Sweetie you also don't know how I know you got some earlier but I'm not a priest!" My eyes opened in disbelief. "Don't look so wide-eyed and shocked. We attended college, he was the head of the foreign affairs committee, majored in more than needed subjects, and drove everyone mainly me mad with his insane body" I watched as his eyes rolled for emphasis. "So then he's not straight?" i asked "Baby girl he's straighter than freshly steamed boxers! He's had some issues along the way and knows crazy people but he's a great guy. I can also tell you this, he's honest to a T so when he says you're being a bitch you best believe it! Plus he's even better than that stupid guy u would've gotten.

"Wait what!? I commented But Dom kept talking like he was ignoring my question, "Dom stop ignoring me!" I insisted with a straight look on my face. Dom lowered his Green lens black framed Ray Bans, uncrossed his legs, and leaned towards me. "Baby girl, I couldn't leave you to find some random magazine guy, he could be a murderer for all we know. Demetri lives on the upper floor of your apartment and I might have contacted him, I might have told him to intercept your message and I might have invited him for you because you deserve a good man. Now you can thank me later!"

He said it with such flare and then repositioned his glasses. I could count on Dom to tell me the truth but I had so much other things on my mind. I could bypass this for now. He blew me a kiss and I giggled. "Oh and watch out I see some bitchy activity coming your way" As he sang bitchy in a high-pitched tone and crossed his legs.

I couldn't help but contemplate what he meant by bitchy activity and better than the guy I would've gotten, it never meant much to me, so I continued my drink and watched the females against male rivalry that the family tried to ensue. Demetri caught my gaze and flash a breathtaking smile it made my heart stop. Who is he really and why me and why was he so good at pretending for me? Either way this facade was the realest thing i've felt in awhile and I intended to play it out as if I never knew. "Damn! Now that's something!" I heard Dom comment in the background as I began blushing from ear to ear, this was not normal indeed!

"Am Dom do me a favor?" I asked "Anything Nas!" he responded. "Keep an eye on him at the bachelor party tonight ok!" I wasn't entirely sure of my request but I guess he was starting to mean more to me that I realized. "I don't need to, you rented a perfect gentleman!" my head snapped to him at once and we bout started laughing wildly.
