I entered the restaurant still shaky, I didn't know what Ryan was up to and I never liked it one bit. Would he really hurt me? Nonetheless, I placed all thoughts of him in the back of my mind to focus on the thought at hand. I approached the hostess only to see Mother waving in the distance. "Hey Mom" I greeted her with a hug, "How's my baby girl? I haven't seen you in a while are you gaining weight and are you ok!?." she was very observant. "I'm good Mom, which brings me to what I had to tell....." I was cut off when she began. "So I was shopping the other day when I saw this guy, he's a doctor by the way, too handsome for even himself. Anyway, he was just there and I asked him how old he was he said 26, so I told him about you and he agreed to go on a date" he finished. "You set a blind date for me Mother!? How could you!" I asked, "Sweetheart you got to get over Demetri sometime!" she was genuinely concerned. "No mother not like this!" I protested, "Well look you don't have to like him dear but just try it..... For me k", I looked into her eyes and realized she was being sincere "Ok I'll think about it". "So what did you want to tell me?" She asked, "Ahh nothing much, just that works going well" I lied, "Well you were always successful sweetie that's what I admired so much. I love you" she declared "I love you too ma!"

"Hi is this Mark?" I asked, "Ye?" He answered unsurely. "Hi this is Nastascijah my mom said she met you and I'm suppose to meet you at floor 21 restaurant tonight? At 8 pm", "Oh ye.... Yes you are!" He sounded American, and he had a cute accent, "So 8pm then" he confirmed, "Sure!" I agreed.

I entered Floor 21 at 8:05 pm, I was indeed 5 minutes late. I walked up to the hostess and gave her my name to be escorted to my seat. "Right, this way Ms. Foster". She motioned and I followed. She came to a table for two where she handed me my menu as I sat, but this was strange, Mark wasn't there! I decided to order a glass of sweet wine and wait, 25 mins couldn't hurt. It must have been 3 glasses and 35 minutes later when I saw a well-toned, blue-eyed stranger making his way to the table. I was already feeling the buzz from the alcohol, if only Demetri knew what I was up to. I watched as Mark began to exchange pleasantries and apologized for being late because a gunshot victim came in when he was leaving out. He was a really nice guy, too busy to be married and definitely wants kids, we giggled and chatted until we lost track of all time. "Could I take you home?" He offered, "Oh sure!" I accepted because I had taken the cab in an effort not to be seen with the car. Just in case.

We paid the bill and left the restaurant more chatter and laughter on the way home again we were so into the chatting that we pulled up to my apartment without noticing. I said my good night then hopped out. "I had a lovely time Mark! Let's do it again sometime" I said with a smile, "Do you need me to walk you in?" he was the perfect gentleman, I giggled "Nope!.... I am Okie Dokie", Obviously too tipsy to stay straight. I waved him off then passed the porter as I headed upstairs.
