My eyes watered and burned as I waited for the unknown, looking for what would happen, would Ryan come for me? Would anyone respond? I worshipped my corner as it was becoming a stifle; I coughed and panted. I tried to feel for the walls to make my way to the door but even that became impossible because I was choking. What have I done? I couldn't even cry! The smoke became thicker than ever as it rolled and battered the concrete ceiling. I reached for the door handle but lost all control. I fell to the floor with what little breath I had left, was my bright idea a horrible mistake? Was my final thought as I curdled and held my stomach then just like that.......... I was out.
