I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing on a continuous annoying pitch signaling time for my early morning jog. I glanced at my watch and groaned inside because it was one week to the wedding and I was yet to find a date and not just a normal one, an unbelievable one! I once again started to panic and curse Dominic under my breath. It was a beautiful Sunday morning and I had no idea what to do, so I started my laptop to see what I could find maybe I would do a little shopping, browse, and read the latest something. I idly ran through some web pages when my phone rang "Hello? Oh hey, Mom, whoopee I'm thrilled, I got it, Mom, yes I'm assuming she told you, yes Mother you'll meet him on Friday....." I came to a sudden halt when a site popped up I didn't expect, the heading caught my attention 'Stop procrastinating love don't u feel lonely? Need a partner? well call our hotline for your appointment, we have a guy for any occasion, "Mom let me call you back, I love you!"

And before she could reply I hung up. I began inspecting the ad further when I came across a number to call so without hesitating I did, I waited for the phone to start ringing, then contemplated the idea of hanging up 1, 2.......3 times over when I was caught off guard by a voice in a high pitched tone, I sucked up the courage and spoke. "Hi .... I'm Kady and I was wondering if..... Yes, no, Friday, yes, I'll be waiting on your ....... oh? Ok sure ok". That was the shortest nonsensical conversation I have ever had! My day had suddenly gotten unexpectedly busy.

With shaking hands I nervously handed the postman the parcel as he stared at me trying to pry it from my hands, it was nerve-racking but I eventually mustered up the courage to let it go so he could go back to work. I decided if I was going to drive that far to stay in a fancy hotel with a man I have to play kissy face with all weekend I better look good while I was at it even though I had no knowledge of how he would even look, that's when I called Dominick, it was time to glam up, it was time to go shopping!

"Hey, Dom? Do you think I'm lonely?", "Baby girl you got lonely written all o.v.e.r your face! When was the last time you went out on a date? ........... A real one!" he added before I could even answer, "Yes you are lonely, shit at the rate you're going I wouldn't be surprised if you were nominated to be Virgin Mary up in here!", "It's not that bad!", "Oh yes it is you need a man or even a woman to give you some good loving till your eyes roll back in your head and you scream their name, girl you're not only lonely, your my boss but you're pathetic as a good friend for over ten years, get a man sweetie! And not mines either, he's off the market!"

All I could do is roll my eyes at him because he was right, and even though he had no knowledge of my 'man' plans I think he would be as supportive as ever. After all, he did help get me into this mess, and by the looks of it, he should help to bail me out!
