The Grace of God is Always Enough For Your Weaknesses

Kahit gaano pa tayo kabagsik at kainit in serving God, darating sa point na napapagod din tayo. Darating sa point na parang "work" nalang ang ginagawa natin rather than it is our "commitment" to the Lord. But hey! You are not alone, dear. ^_^ We all go through that.

Today, I want to remind you of what God has spoken to Apostle Paul. In 2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Ito 'yong time na may ininflict na tinik sa katawan ni Paul to torment him. It was the doing of the messenger of Satan to keep Paul from being conceited. Three times Paul pleaded to God na tanggalin na 'yong tinik or to heal him yet ito 'yong sinabi ni God sa kaniya: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

Hindi maiiwasang makakapag-isip tayo na nakakapagod ng maglingkod sa Diyos. Nakakapagod 'yong sitwasyon natin ngayon na parang gusto nalang nating mawala sa mundo. Those are legitimate emotions. However, there is also the TRUTH which will give us a new and fresh perspective. 'Yong naranasan ni Paul, God allowed it so that His grace and power may be displayed on Paul's circumstances.

Kahit nakakapagod na, patuloy pa rin sa paglilingkod kay Lord.

Kahit masakit na, patuloy pa ring magtitiwala kay Lord.

Kahit nakakainip na, patuloy pa ring maghihintay sa pagkilos ni Lord.

And if tayo man ay dumating na sa point na parang "trabaho" nalang ang tingin natin sa ginagawa natin para kay Lord, let us assess ourselves.

Is there any unconfessed sins we carry in our hearts?

Is there any idols in our lives that we bargain God's love?

What do I prioritize now? Myself or my God?

 Do I still desire to please God or to please others and myself?

Pero kahit na ganoon, naniniwala ako na kapag maging honest lang talaga tayo kay Lord, He can and will definitely convict and change our hearts. We just need to humble down and confess how we really feel at this moment. And His promise? His grace is always enough to sustain us in our most vulnerable point.

After all, importante na sa lahat ng gagawin natin ay ginagawa natin 'to dahil mahal natin si Lord at gusto natin Siyang i-please. Sabi nga ng Bible, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

Colossians 6:9"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
