THE NIGHT FELL down at Hogwarts, and sooner than she expected, it was time for Melanie's detention.

Still mad, Melanie walked down the halls to Professor Lockhart office.

She admired the open sky and the stars. She always like the stars, and when she found out as a younger kid that Sirius was named after one, it made her love the stars even more.

She knew a lot about them and always like her and Sirius's little talks about it.

She took a right and began to walk slowly towards the office, she just wanted to get over with it.

Knocking on the door, Lockhart opened it with a smile. "Hello Miss Potter! Just on time."

Melanie ignored him and made her way to one of the tables and all of a sudden she stopped.

"What are you doing here?" Melanie asked annoyingly the Ravenclaw boy.

"Having a detention obviously" Sam rolled his eyes.

"Oh I see you already know each other!" Lockhart said as he sat on his chair, legs on his desk.

Melanie didn't say anything and sat next to Sam's desk.

"So I need to organise some paperwork I have here. And you'll do it for me" He began. "Finish with it and you can leave."

Melanie groaned in annoyance, taking her pile, she went through half the documents which turned out to be letters from his fans.

"Professor it's just letters from fans" Sam said and Melanie swore she saw him rolling his eyes.

"Yeah right, just ignore it" Lockhart said casually, watching himself in the mirror.

"So what are we supposed to do? Just to throw all of it away?" Melanie raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah, yeah right" he didn't paid any attention.

Melanie took her pile and walked to the small bin that was on her left, she threw the papers away and saw Sam coming to her direction, throwing his pile away too.

Melanie raised a brow at Sam but she decided to ignore him and to turn her attention back to Lockhart.

"I'm done. I'm going" Melanie said.

"Fine fine, off you go" Lockhart said, not even looking at her but instead he looked at himself in his mirror.

Melanie sighed and walked away from his office followed by Sam quickly behind her.
