TO SAY MELANIE didn't had fun in her time in Hogwarts was false.
She had a blast.
She really did.
She felt free, and she knew how to make herself enjoy even from the little things. Always remembering her mom's word; Enjoy everything every time, Hogwarts is a once in a life time experience.
And she stood by that. Hearing all of her parents, aunts and uncles talks about their years at Hogwarts just encourages her to have fun. To do fun.
And turns out pranking made her feel the joy. Ryan and her fooled around all the time causing trouble and pranks after the Halloween first hit.
Sometimes they did it with Leo and Jackson and sometimes they did it to Leo and Jackson.
They still didn't got caught for the Halloween prank and Melanie secretly wished it would stay like that.
November rolled in with a lot of winds and cold weather which means — winter is coming! Melanie's favourite time of the year.
Part of her always liked winter more because of Christmas and the snow that would surround her entire backyard.
She also loved the rain and the cold weather. She loved the hot chocolates her mother used to make. She missed those very much.
Melanie looked outside her window at her dorm. She was sitting on her bed. Ryan sitting on her own bed.
Ryan looked through her magazines while Melanie looked at the trees moving slowly because of the wind.
The rest of the girls were nowhere to be seen.
"Oh my gosh!" Ryan let out, closing her magazine.
"What?" Melanie turned her gaze towards her.
"We have plants, Mel!"
"Huh?" Melanie raised a brow.
"We have plants! Remember? The one we put in the greenhouse two months ago?" Ryan explained.
"Merlin balls! I forgot about them" Melanie said, groaning.
"Wanna go check on them?" Ryan asked her. "Well, now. If I wasn't clear."
"I don't really have a choice right?" Melanie smirked and followed Ryan out of the room.
The two girls went downstairs to their common room, turning to their side, on hot heels for the the greenhouse.
