MELANIE MADE HER way to the great hall, where she agreed to meet Leo.
She saw him sitting in his table with a bowl of chocolate ice cream.
"Why are we always sitting at your table?" Melanie asked when she sat in front of him.
"Do you want us to sit at yours?" Leo raised his glance from his ice cream to her.
"Fair enough" She shrugged and took for herself a bowl of chocolate ice cream.
"So what do you want for your birthday?" Leo asked. "It's only like five days away!"
"I don't know" Melanie shrugged, playing with her spoon inside of the bowl of her ice cream. "Snacks would be nice."
"But I always get you snacks!" Leo groaned. "I want to give you something else!"
"Well I need someone to take care of my sweets pile!" Melanie insisted. "You're in charge!"
Leo thought about it for a moment before nodding satisfied. "So you admit I have the best taste for choosing snacks?"
"Well Ron is number one but — "
"Knew it!" Leo laughed. "Are you doing something?"
"I mean, Ryan wants me to do something big. but I don't really want to do a big celebration, so i need to really think hard of what I want" Melanie explained.
"I don't care whatever it is unless I'm not invited" Leo said, making Melanie to giggle.
"Of course you're invited, you dumb Gryffindor!"
*** MELANIE sat with her friends at their place, the lakegrass.
Looking up to the sky, she smiled as the clouds moved slowly.
"I love Hogwarts's grounds" Jack sighed.
"Same" Ryan nodded as she watched students pass in front of her.
"Hey guys do you remember the prank?" Jack asked.
"What prank?" Leo replied to him.
"The prank we were going to do but Mel got herself stuck into a detention!"
