Vacation rental - Jacob day

Part 21

November 12 9:37pm (Sorry again lol)

It was our last night here, everything was cleaned and thrown away. All we had were a couple snack or leftovers. I was trying not to get upset over the fact that this might be an end for me and Jacob. I was sitting on the island by myself, while natalie and Josh were upstairs laughing, and Jacob was in his room. I had just thrown away my food when Jacob came out of his room. I was already upset, and seeing him made me cry.

Jacob: what's wrong?

Y/n: nothing im fine

I lied

Jacob: youve been in your head for weeks. Talk to me, tell me what's going on

He grabbed my hand gently, and I felt I was about to snap

Jacob: please tell-

Y/n: im falling in love with you

I blurted out with tears in my eyes. I was expecting him to let go and walk away, but instead he stayed and gave me a smile.

Jacob: I'm in love with you

My eyes lit up knowing he did feel the same way, but I hated what I was about to say

Y/n: but, Jacob, we cant do this

Jacob: do what?

Y/n: this

Jacob: you don't want this anymore?

Y/n: no Jacob i want this more than anything, but long distance relationships don't work. I know, I've been there

Jacob: we can try

He replied in a desperate like tone.

Y/n: no Jacob it'll be to hard

I said still crying.

Jacob: I'll come see you and you can come and see me

Y/n: Jacob you live in la, i live in florida (the place they took the vacation was in the keys lol!)

I adored the fact that he was willing to make it work, but it would've been too difficult.

Y/n: you could be cheating on me and I would never know

Jacob: I would never do anything to hurt you, just the thought of you crying because i did something to hurt you shatters me

He told me still holding onto my hands.

Y/n: i love you

A smile grew on his face, and he pulled me into a tight hug. After a couple seconds I pulled away

Y/n: let's try

Jacob: really?

He asked with big smile on his face. I nodded and he picked me up and hugged me tight again. He set me down

Jacob: is this what you've been upset about all along?

Y/n: yeah

I replied softly.

Jacob: why didn't you just tell me?

Y/n: i was scared to tell you that I was falling in love with you

Jacob: why?

Y/n: i didn't know if you felt the same way and didn't want to scare you away

Jacob: you could never scare me away

He hugged me again, and took me to his room and closed the door.

Y/n: i hate that you leave in 7 hours

Jacob: me too

We got into bed, and I curled up into him as close as possible. I fell asleep instantly, and so did he.

4:36am

I woke up to the sound of Jacob moving around the room. He was already dressed, and his bag was gone, i sat up

Y/n: Jacob?

He came over to me, as my eyes couldn't open.

Jacob: go back to sleep

Y/n: are you leaving?

Jacob: yes

I hugged him softly, then fully realized he was leaving and pulled away.

Jacob: what?

I jumped onto him, and hugged him tightly. Feeling his arms around me, made me fall back asleep even though I didn't want too. He laid me back down, and placed a kiss on my head.

Y/n: no im up im up

I wanted to tell him bye. I don't know when I'll see him again. I watched him scan the room, and he grabbed onto my hand. I walked him outside, and Josh was already in the car with the window down.

Y/n: did natalie tell you bye?

Josh: yeah last night. She refused to wake up to tell me bye now

Jacob looked down at me.

Jacob: I have to go..

I wrapped my arms around his neck, getting on my tip toes. His wrapped around my waist, as I buried my face in his neck. He let go.

Jacob: I love you

He kissed me.

Y/n: I love you

I nodded, whimpering softly.

Jacob: don't cry

He wiped my tears away, cupping my face. I nodded, kissing his hand. And he got into the passenger seat. I watched him leave the driveway. I covered my mouth, and sobs started. But I turned back around when I saw the car stopped. I saw Jacob get out of the car, and he ran towards me. In one quick motion, he wrapped his arms around my waist, picking me up and making me wrap my body around him. He was holding me tight.

Y/n: Jacob..

I mumbled into his neck.

Jacob: I can't leave you

His eyes were watery.

Y/n: I know baby.. I can't either. But we'll see each other soon okay..?

I wiped his tears away. I walked him to the car that was down the street. He got in and rolled down the window, pulling me in for another kiss.

Josh: Jacob..

He called his name softly. He let me go, and I let him go. I watched him drive away. I sighed and cried. I went back into the house and went into Jacob's room. I laid on his side of the bed. It smelt just like him. I curled into the blankets, and fell asleep.

7:58am

I was woken up to natalie shaking me

Y/n: hm?

Natalie: come on we gotta go you still have to pack some of your stuff
