Marry Me

I don't know what happened. One minute Hotch ordered us to go inside and the next I was on the ground, ears ringing. Someone was yelling my name as I tried to stand up.

"JJ are you okay?" It was Hotch. I nodded and he helped me to my feet. "What happened?" I asked. He shook his head. "They blew up the bank. Luckily almost all the civilians were out."

I looked around and did a count of the team. Spence was fine, he was far enough back. Rossi and Penelope were in the van. Hotch and Derek we're brushing the dust off but she wasn't here.

"I want a team to go inside, find Will and the other civilians." Hotch ordered. "Emily's inside." I added. I begged him to let me go inside and he nodded slightly. I followed Morgan inside and I yelled for her.

"Here." It was quiet but I heard her reply. She was in the safe with an elderly couple. "They're fine. They were the last two remaining civilians." Paramedics took over for her and I pulled her up. "Why would you do that?"

She laughed and wiped at the dirt on her face. "I thought it would be fun." I couldn't laugh, I was too scared. "Don't do it again." I hugged her tighter than ever and pushed her outside.

It was a hassle trying to get her check by paramedics, she hated it. "Please just let them make sure you won't die on the ride home." Emily nodded and obliged.

I let them work and had a voicemail from the babysitter. She said Will stopped at home and let her go. I ran to Rossi, he threw me a pair of keys and I left for my house.

I got there in time to fight the 'queen' down and the team got there before I had a chance to kill her, I could've. When Morgan took her away I ran to the closet and found Henry hiding.

"Hey kiddo." I smiled, hugging him tight. The team left us alone and I clung onto him until he started to squirm. "Too tight." He complained. I laughed and let go.

"I'm sorry. I was just scared." I played with his hair and thought of Will. "I'm sorry if I scared you." I smiled. He pulled away and asked to go play with Spencer. I nodded and picked him up before bringing him outside.

Spencer happily went to Henry's room so I left to call Will, I needed to know what was going on. He didn't an so I called Hotch. "He had a bomb strapped to him but Emily diffused it. He is alive and going to the hospital for a check up."

I met them there and made sure Will was ok. "I'm fine. It was a little fight but I'm fine. Henry is fine." I said when he looked at the cut on my forehead. "Marry me." He said.
