Darrell

"Jax!" I exclaimed, stunned and overjoyed, pulling him into a warm hug. The familiar scent of vanilla and musk enveloped me, comforting and reassuring.

"Hey, Darrell," Jax said, his voice low and smooth, his arms wrapping around me tightly. The sound of Ricky clearing his throat rather loudly behind us then suddenly drew our attention back to reality.

"Helloooo, your friends are still standing here wondering what the heck is going on," Shawn said.

"Darrell, why didn't you tell us you were friends with such good looking dudes? Also, who are these good looking dudes?" Tyler asked.

I rolled my eyes, choosing to pay no attention to Tyler. "This is Jax, he's my umm...my boyfriend...I guess?" I said, unsure of how exactly I was supposed to introduce him to my friends. Tell them he's a werewolf and that our souls are apparently bonded? Nah. "And that's his best friend, Leon."

"Oh, you've been seriously holding out on us man, since when do you have a boyfriend?" Tyler turned to ask me, Shawn and Rick mirroring the same shocked expression on his face.

"Oh um, it happened so fast, I didn't know how to tell you guys, plus I wasn't sure how you'd react me being in a relationship with a boy." That was true for the most part, I really didn't know how to tell them I was now in a lifelong bond with a boy I've known less than three weeks, or how to do so without exposing the whole werewolf thing. Although it was more because he was a supernatural being than it was because he was a boy.

"Why, did you think we'd judge you or something?" Tyler said. It was times like this that his three functioning brain cells all came together in unison. "I'm pan and those two are obviously a thing, is it that you don't trust us?"

"I'm sorry guys, of course I trust you, everything just happened so fast that it was hard to find the right time to bring it up."

"Oh right, you've been single so long I forgot you were pansexual. I can't believe you swing both ways and you still can't find someone who'd date you," Rick said.

"I can't believe he just outed us so casually," Shawn replied.

"Oh come on, you guys aren't fooling anyone with that crappy acting," he said as Shawn laughed while Rick blushed and elbowed him in the side.

"Did you forget we're still standing here?" came Leon's annoyed voice.

"Sorry," I apologized. "Jax, Leon, these are my friends Tyler, Ricky and Shawn."

"It's nice to meet you all," Jax smiled while Leon rolled his eyes. Call me crazy but I think he doesn't really like me or my friends that much.

"It's great meeting you too," Tyler said as leon pushed past and made himself comfortable on the couch immediately.

"Hey, Jax right?" Tyler whispered and he nodded. "I know you and my boy Darrell are dating now but how about your friend over there," Tyler gestured to leon. "He taken?"

"Don't even think about it because I will not hesitate to knock out your teeth if you so much as breathe wrongly in my direction," Leon glared back at him.

"Ooh, feisty," Tyler smirked. "I like that." I rolled my eyes and prayed he really wouldn't get himself killed with his shamelessness.

After the round of introductions and a really crappy made-up story about how Jax and I met, we all settled down in the living room. I must say though, it was by far the weirdest get hangout ever — Rick and Shawn were in their own universe ipenly just flirting with each other on one of the couches, apparently no longer feeling the need to keep their relationship behind closed doors since they were outed, I was just admiring at Jax who looked quite hot as he shot daggers with his eyes at Tyler. Leon was trying to glare at me but couldn't because he kept having to fend off Tyler who, unaware of the deadly looks he was getting from Jax, was still shamelessly flirting with Leon, with the television that was on in the background being long forgotten.
