- You look exhausted. Did you get sleep at all?Natsai was looking at her from the other side of the table, with concerned eyes, watching her drink her coffee in almost one gulp. Everleigh set her empty cup down on the Gryffindor table, shaking her head.
- A couple of hours at best.
- How's the head feeling? Perhaps we should go by the infirmary to make sure it's nothing? You took a big fall.
Everleigh felt the guilt sting on her stomach, knowing that she couldn't tell Natty about the trials, her magic and Ranrok. So instead, she lied about her whereabouts those past few days, blaming a hard fall on the Grand Staircase. Garreth hadn't questioned her lie at all, but Natty had looked at her like she could see right through it. However, she didn't pressed Everleigh about it, and the girl appreciated her more because of that.
Then there was the real reason she couldn't get a full night of sleep the day before, and he was sitting on the Slytherin table, right across the Gryffindor one, with a smug expression on his face.
Sebastian had kept her in the shower until dawn, and even when they had probably slept the same amount of hours, he looked like he had the best sleep of his life. He better, since he would be playing that evening against Hufflepuff.
"- Can you walk to your room or shall I carry you, princess?"
He had asked her, with a conceited smile, after getting two more orgasm out of her. Her legs were shaking so bad, she thought he might've had to, but Everleigh refused to give him that satisfaction. With a kiss and a grin, Sebastian had left the showers and sneaked out the Gryffindor common room using the Disillusionment charm. He was truly crazy to use an Invisible Potion just to enter the Gryffindor common room and give her a scare. Not only were those expensive, they took weeks to prepare. And he wasted one to get on her nerves. And in between her legs.
What an idiot.
- I'm alright. I have to do some reading for Ancient Runes but I'm going back to sleep after.
Everleigh answered as a boy from the Ravenclaw table approached her with a shy smile on that moment. The three friends looked at him. Everleigh recognized him from class.
- Hey, Everett.
- Hey, Everleigh... - He seemed like he wanted to ask her a question, but he was too scared of it. The girl waited until he was ready to talk, and he finally did after taking in a long breath. - I was wondering if you'd like to go to the Yule Ball next month... with... me.
Oh. Not again.
She offered a gentle smile at him.
- Hm... someone already asked me, Everett. I'm sorry.
The boy nodded, his face blushing the same color as the Gryffindor banner and he walked away from her muttering something. She only heard the words stupid and what was I thinking as he sat down at the Ravenclaw table again.
- What the hell was that?
Garreth asked, stuffing his mouth if potatoes. Everleigh shrugged.
- I have no idea. For the last week I've been randomly approached by all these guys I don't even talk to, to accompany them to the Yule Ball.
- Well, well. Someone is getting popular. - Natsai grinned at her. - Who are you going with?
