•Chapter 9•

"So, Blake slipped a note in your locker, telling you to meet him out at the school gates at the end of lunch and took you to McDonald's to get a McFlurry?" Rachel confirmed.

I nodded, grinning. "And don't forget how my dad was driving past and saw us! Blake was already in big trouble for taking me with him to bunk, so it wasn't easy when we started dating."

Rachel burst out laughing again as Emily walked over to us and sat down in one of the seats to get her hair done.

"What are we laughing about, ladies?" She asked whilst flicking through the hairstyles book.

"We're laughing about something that isn't any of your business." I replied shortly, shaking my head desperately at Rachel, which was hard because my hair was being washed at the time but she seemed to have got the hint.

Emily looked up at me and raised her perfectly shaped eyebrow.

"I'll come back later to get my hair done, I can tell when I'm not wanted." She lifted her chin, however made no effort to get up and go away.

"Can you? You wouldn't be here right now or here at the spa at all if you could." I pointed out.

I saw Rachel stifle a laughter as Emily huffed and finally got up. She finally burst out laughing when Emily had walked out of hearing range.

"What's the hot goss with you and Emily then?" She asked after she had finally calmed down.

I watched her settle down to let the hairdresser cut her hair into layers and decided there was no harm in telling her.

"Where do I start? None of us likes her, cause she's pure evil. Lily actually used to best friends with her, you know? Now, they hate each other and Emily has no friends, whilst Lily has loads and is now best friends with Amanda. So you can see who the better person is."

"So.. What actually happened between Emily and Lily?"

I sighed. "You should probably ask Lily herself, sorry."

"No I understand, you can't just tell people's secrets." Rachel smiled at me reassuringly, peering through the corners of her eyes, whilst sitting still so as not to ruin her hair.

The hairdresser was done with washing my hair and sat me up, so she could finish the process of highlighting my hair in lighter shades of brown.

The day went on pretty much the same and we all ended up in the sauna, minus Emily thank goodness.

"This was such a great day, I'm glad I got to have a catch up with you guys." I said stretching my legs out.

"I know! We hardly get to see each other these days, what with some of us going sixth form and the others going college." Melissa sighed.

"Yeah but then again, me and Ree go to the same sixth form and we hardly get to hang out." Lily pointed out.

"You know what it is? Until now, we haven't bothered to make time for each other." Lina stated.

We all murmured in agreement.

"Well I say from now on, we gotta make time for each other!" Amanda said looking at us all in turn.

Again, we all murmured in agreement and nodded.

I noticed Rachel sitting quietly and looking down so I added, "The plus side of going to different places is that we can make new friends to introduce into the group."

Rachel looked up at me and smiled gratefully.

"Hell yeah! I need to meet more of your friends Mel, especially if they're as great as Rachel!" Amanda enthused.
